- US national championships women’s doubles final held at Triangle badminton and table tennis
December 31st 2023
Annie and Kerry are currently ranked 30 in the world.
Allison and Frankie are silver medalists from the 2023 World Junior championships.
This was one of my favourite matches of the tournament and luckily caught it on camera, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did (This is a full match upload, only downtimes are cut out).
Featuring a 144 shot rally!
Insane rallies
Nice video, good WD final! Blue team was more creative in the attack, a lot of variations. Yellow team should have done the same considering their height advantage ;-) Hi Taylor!
This was a great match and it was a national tournament. Where were the audience? If this were in Asia, you would see thousands of people cheering! Thanks for sharing
Yh, this is in USA, audience was maybe 100-200 people, you see some on left of camera, most were behind camera and some were to the right. I wish there was more enthusiasm for badminton here!
Excellent fight❤❤ both, blue team are powerful
Where’s the court ?
Triangle Badminton and Table Tennis is a facility located in NC, USA, close to RDU International airport

Want to see not Smash but "Smashes with Defense".... Watch whole Match, all are good but Yellow pair have better Defense than Opponent.
How? If your defense keep getting consecutive smashes then it is not a good defense. Both are similar game style. Blue side just has better smashes and a little more consistent. Both not very creative same reason why rallies are so long. None of the smashes threatful enough to kill the other. Here are some of the shots are missing unless being cut off from the video. Rush up net cross drop. Blue had some but not good quality. Cross drop from back fast slide (forehard side to the left front, didn't see one fast shot). Lots of defense are half court, with mixtures of half smash cross court can throw of the balance. Serve receives are very slow returns. Not much of push, majority are just push up (Sorry i don't like to use the word push up, it is more like an offensive clear) to the corners (rarely see a push down). Not enough front court intercept with push into uncomfortable of body shots. Most are just push back to side line where everybody practices to attack and defense same position, or random shots try to kill with a smash. I give to the yellow side has some good read on opponent when they in trouble and one rush up, taking risk to win rally. Some failed to kill but the point is to be variable.
Other than that I wouldn't say yellow has better defense than blue side. Some of blue defense actually converts the attack.
typical Japanese women doubles, not Indonesian style ..., but overall good games lah, girls hitting hard, I like that @@anothername6861
It’s terrible to reach this level after reaching the finals.
Not sure what other finals you refer to but this pair is off to the olympics!
@@ashupashu5559 so what? are they capable of winning even one game?
