  • I explored an abandoned junkyard in Tampa, Florida, complete with snakes and alligators, to bring you HEMI cars, antique fire trucks, rows of classics and trailers full of old car parts. Plus, it's all for sale! Enjoy!

The Dodge pickup is not a D100 (1/2 ton). the 8 lug full float rearend would be a 200 (3/4)or possibly 300 (one ton). Also, D is for two wheel drive but if its 4x4 (can't see in the video) that would be a W series. There is or at least there was a property in Plantation Acres Plantation Fl. that was like this.I did residential home construction in there. The owner of the property was eccentric and had like 30 cars on the property...mostly in the back yard. Under the roof in the circular driveway was a mid 1920s Willys Knight large sedan motor car....with boxes caving in the canvas roof...and the car was filled with boxes and trash. Car still looked in decent shape. He also had a 1965 Olds F85 next to the barn under a roof as well...same thing...boxes on the roof and in the car. The city made him clean up the property. Not sure what became of all the vehicles there. Oddly enough...he drove a mid 90s T-bird. I did approach the resistance one time and the wife?? I believe answered the door and I asked if the Willys Knight was for sale and she did ask the gentleman and it was $9k in 2004 or 2005.
There is hidden treasure all over. Luckily with personal drone tech today...it's easier to search suspect area's of interest.

I'm sure that this is enough there to try an save. Like I said somebody is going to want that siren and its mount. That Chevy can be saved, the cab from maybe both LaFrances or at least the red one. That Ladder still might be able to be saved but if not there are parts on it that ppl who restoring another fire truck might be able to use. Both the siren and Mars Light on that Ladder can be restored. They are worth something.

I would ask that you not say anything about any value to any of that old equipment because he may think that he has a gold mine and may Jack the value up and the ppl who may wanna try an restore it won't pay a gold mine price and all of that good equipment will end like every thing else there and just rot away needlessly.

@@TimSmith-uc4pk I understand. I'm not involved in that aspect of his life. He's a fair man. Have a great weekend!
