Kei is not giving himself enough credit, not only is he running the biggest cs channel is Mongolia, he is been doing it for so long that he has a good amount of loyal fans. On top of that, when he brought faceit to Mongolia everybody started playing faceit(gold league as he mentioned in the video) in Mongolia. Many of the current top mongolian pros(skor, bartak, senzu to name a few) came up playing faceit. So he is a huge reason why mongolian cs is as good as it is now
for the english fans of the mongolz, we really appreciate this interview - because of the language barrier we seldom get new information and insight about the mongolian scene and i have BIG respect for what Kei has done for the scene - the region has SO many talented players and it's going to be very fun to see what they can do going forward :D
As a mongolian fan of the Mongolz, I thought Mongolz only has national fans but I was wrong until I see this comment lmao. Also, it is pretty much pleasant to see Mongolz has a great amount of viewership in S-tier tournament.

I think Mongolians are really good at computer games even though there arent many of us (only 3 million people). We love playing games on computers since we were kids. Because computer gaming stood out as the most enjoyable and fascinating activity. Our best and funniest memories are from playing computer games with friends. So computer gaming became our hobby
Very cool to have KEi on the show. I was unaware of how big his impact was on Mongolian cs as a whole. Mongolia is very interesting, their geographical challenges is also a strength of theirs with the overwhelming majority living in close proximity (Ulaanbaatar). Mongolia is a rapidly growing "esports" nation, they have just won the PUBGM global championship aswell. It does feel like the legendary run at IEM Taipei (and the work KEi has done) may have legitimise esports in the eyes of many.
Its a bit of a bummer that they couldnt have pilski and bleh on it because those two wouldve definitely had some great questions for KEi. I hope they can get KEi again during or after the RMR. I would love to see all four of them on the podcast
KEI gave the biggest influence and motivations to Mongolian E-sport specially CS Every Mongolian male gen-Z's know him and respect him. Bc we're all play CS and DOTA growing up. Mongolia has a unique and challenging environment with its harsh conditions and various socio-economic issues. The nomadic culture and the love for games like CS and Dota 2 seem to provide an outlet for people to express themselves and find enjoyment despite the difficulties. It's interesting to hear that the Mongolian spirit of unity and determination is strong when there is a common goal to achieve. While the country may face challenges, it's important to recognize and celebrate the resilience and passion of its people...

They had accused T3rry and b4nana of cheating because of B4nana's late lurks in aps for inferno which seemed more like b4nana plays passively rather than aggressively in aps. I believe they called out t3rry because he left a site empty as a player flanked. However, there was a player rotating that suddenly turned again. I'm thinking he saw a trailing leg and told t3rry to get ready.
Hm, on the contrary of you guys. I'm betting on Mongolz and Lynn Vision making through. Mongolz is obvious and for Lynn Vision, it's mainly because despite their poor rep as LAN dodgers, when they did show up on LAN, they frankly weren't all that bad. They surprisingly have a far better mental than TYLOO which heavily benefits them. Meanwhile for other teams like Grayhound, unfortunately I don't think they'll make it even with dexter. They frankly don't have much opposition in Oceania but what happens if they face real opposition in their next door neighbor? Asia has been rapidly improving even in its tier 2 scene which could completely push Oceania out of any representation at Majors in a matter of time if nothing being done about it.
Yeah, I don't think Mongolz LVG is an absolutely crazy prediction either tbh. It's very hard to rank when we don't get to see the teams play each other with any regularity. The fact Grayhound weren't at eXTREMESLAND makes them a bit of a question mark in comparison to the other 3. Tyloo are an easy write off based on the results here, but it's hard to go against Grayhound's basically unbeaten record of qualifying for majors.
