  • We're continuing on in this series on radar with a discussion on radars can find a target's range. Periodically turning off the transmitter and listening for echoes let's us do this. In this video we'll discuss how that works.
    Make sure you've watched Radar 101 before this video.

    Just a video idea, I would be very interested in a series covering "SEAD, DEAD, CAP, CAS,...." all of those words and how those missions are carried out. I want to learn what they are and how they work, and what is expected to be done in them. There is information everywhere but i dont have the experience to comprehensively compile it myself.

    And when a station sends out, a pulse at 700000 Wat at the same time as another station, and when these pulses overlap in that specific area. Any weather will be magnified. Exponentially and a ring will appear in the sky from the particles. Being excited, just ask Joplin, Missouri.

    Sir what is the main difference of radar waves and pulse.I mean pulse is not an electromagnetic wave ?

    • @TheOpsCenterByMikeSolyom
      @TheOpsCenterByMikeSolyom  หลายเดือนก่อน

      A pulse is just a wave that has been cut short. You'll hear radars differentiated as being either "continuous wave (CW)" or "pulse" because of this. CW just means you never cut the wave down.
