Just finished my first wipe on this and despite wonky terrain with some external TC issues, I survived a 40+ rocket + two waves of MLRS online raid. Cheers mate
Nice man, using this but instead of a second bunker behind the jumpup i made the "jumpup" a roof bunker by raising the square behind it. Great work again
Really nice ideas in this, I especially like the external TCs which I think are the best I've seen to date, possibly removing the need for a gatehouse even. The main build tutorial needs to focus on in-wipe realities however, I'd recommended therefore for those watching: Create the starter and honeycomb. Claim your build spot with external TCs. Decide on whether the roof is something worth the investment given it's limited peek angles, consider a wizard tower ontop to truly control areas with a 360 rat gap.

When you have to place foundation like at 14:28. It’s impossible to do when you have defalut stone skin. You must have triangle seiling as wood or upgrade to metal to be able to place it

That’s a great question. Even I don’t know. I really like the triangle roof / single door peaks that have been getting used a lot. Wide gaps. Your compound turrets in this video were brilliant. Always liked ramp peaks over open core that are protected by turrets. Don’t have a set idea, just trying to find that “perfect build”. I know you’ll create something soon. We’ve used a couple of hours so far to great success
@@IndominusRust if you could try it put it not from the behind like you did on the video. The wall is in the tc literally. When I rotate it like "usually" it works great as always. Anyways I made a few other comments, but a still great base man.
When I do this same thing In my 2x1’s I place the shelf first. Makes it incredibly easy. Also you can rotate hardside first too stone hard side is thinner.
^^ my build style doesn’t usually involve any freehand placements or floor stacking, just very situational on flat terrain (at least for freehand peeks) and also floor stacking can be awkward for starters etc. I’m not saying no though haha. I will see what I can think of
@@IndominusRust yea for official i would say its a good base. i just play 2x modded after 10k hours i cant deal with the slow speed of official anymore lol for 2x base best to remove open core and just go with mass honeycomb and multiple loot rooms to increase rocket cost since most of the time they just pummel thru walls. open core makes any youtube Zerg base a 20 rocket raid since typically its always 2-3 walls to open core. which is why facepunch just made offlining bases easy with there 12 turret limit. that was the only real defense to bases was turrets to stop them from getting in after blowing a hole to core
Yea there is like 6 “bunkers” throughout the base but core is not bunkered. If you did put a bunker, it would actually do more harm than help, would take the foot path cost down
@@Jaggerr556 Well you cannot simply slap "bunker base" as a title if there is not a single bunker on the main base, its just silly. You have 3 external tc stability bunker and 2 unlootable vending machine lootroom. Still a pretty good base.

as a person who only played console rust since i'm poor but i used this design in a roblox rust type of game and it's perfect 10/10 base design

The outside vending machine bunker don’t work on console so could be used as a bedroom or more drop boxes nvm they fixed it
Can still be used as another loot room, change the single door with a garage door or window, will still cost a decent amount of extra rockets

There’s no way to place triangle shelf in tc room when tc stands like this. It says it’s blocked by TC. :/

Place the twig foundation at then base of gatehouse under the triangle frame. Then place a twig roof and it should disconnect 0:59
