It’s really the fact of putting the “One-Step Slide” into a graspable concept. If you’re gun is out, you’re slower, longer, if it’s holstered, you’re quicker, sooner. Super useful after the quick jiggle peaks and spurts of return fire, which is usually when an opponent decides (within 1 or 2 seconds), if they will send you or not. Good to get out quickly to use as much time and space to heal and/or reposition.👍🏽
No this isnt csgo take shot switch knife and run, the point is when you rush in you can shoot mid air, without taking out the knife you wont go as fast

Finally someone explaining movement the way I see it. The amount of people I play with that make big mistakes like this and don’t understand why I beat them in every 1v1 shocks me. I’m kind of scared of this guy thought cause he has movement not far from me but he’s on controller which I know is harder
There needs to be a setting for how long you have to hold the button to holster weapons on controller/ console. I’m on ps5 and it takes so damn long holding down the swap weapons button to put my weapon away
Hey, can you maybe do a video on how to move fast if you're on a 200 ping lossy connection and the server is juuust dipping its toes into slowmo mode, and every. single. action and movement must be second-guessed and all the timings you trained in the range are useless - nay, treacherous - because it takes 200ms to even start the slowed-down animation to see if you picked up that gun, or if the two seconds extra sprinting time that you allowed was enough to qualify for a basic slide-jump, or if getting hit once will cause normal aim punch or a full second of glitched-out rubberbandy aim punch, or whether you landed that wall bounce or whether it rubberbanded you to the top of the wall instead and triggered a wall hang? Can you make a video like that? (Can you feel my heart by BMTH start playing)
I do most of the things you tell me and learned how to do it over (ballpark around 10,000+) 1v1's I really enjoy it as a hobby with the homies but if you're ever down I'd be more than happy to 1v1 a great player like you :)
Ok I see he actually says it in order at the end of the short unholster, forward, slide/jump. And if you do forward, slide, jump/ unholster by the time your at the end of the jump in midair is when your gun will come out and will be shooting late towards the end of landing. I always do this the wrong way will practice on it later!
How do you do this on controller without paddles? I've only been playing for a few weeks total, but holstering my weapon is tripping me up. Holding to holster, then moving forward into slide and jump while unholstering.... so many actions to do without having paddles
Good luck I would say mess with swapping your button layout. There are videos with controller players that don’t have paddles. Then, if you want, save for controller w paddles, it does make a big difference
But can you do this with pathfinder ? I've been playing Pathfinder since season one and they have debuffed alot, I'd like to learn to move just a litte faster, would win me alot more of my 1v3s

What about if you dont hit for 100... also get shot at while sliding in... then you have to reload and the other guy already has his gun out so he reloads faster and kills you... 😮

It took me *SOOOO* fucking long to learn that I need to tap unholster before whatever I’m doing it I was my gun to be drawn immediately. If I want to run and slide and as soon as I slide have my gun out then I need to run, tap unhster, crouch so that as soon as I slide my gun is out. I use to slide and then have a good second or 2 before my weapon was out. This shit is just an all around *AMAZING* tip!🔥🤌🏼
My only question is how tf are people able to jump and mid air change direction and still keep momentum.. if this is a mouse and ky exclusive it should be banned in my opinion.. movement tech that actually has a competitive advantage and only able on a certain platform?? Strait should be banned

you're just like me, I have very good aim and it gets better and better, but I lack a lot of movement eventually leading me to getting knocked
Its possible on pc with scripts but on console almost impossible other than outside sources(cheating)

No, it works on console. The only thing you can't do on console is tap strafe (and any movement that requires tap strafing of course)
