Thanks, Kenny ! It’s been a long time waiting. It seemed pretty solid. Unfortunately we poured the footers today after it poured down rain so a little bit of mud in the bottom, but we scraped most of it out with shovels. The inspector gave us the thumbs up.

You are looking good with the footing preparation. I agree with the footing size and depth. It costs a little more, but i think it is well worth it. When I built my last house in Sidney, I went 12 deep by 24 wide with my footings. My Dad and I poured the footings with the aid of a pumper truck. I am so excited to watch the progress of your home build! Thanks for sharing 👍

When you use block in the states do they pour concrete inside the cavity of the block wall? Not much block building here, all poured concrete with footings.
So many cells they will fill it full of half-inch rod and mortar for Support. If I was going to do a basement we would’ve did poured walls but since this is only four courses up, everybody agreed this would be plenty good with 10 inch block. 👍
Tom, are you using a GoPro camera with the DJI microphone? I'm curious because I have a GoPro and I am having a hard time trying to find a wireless mic that will work wit it.
Yes, this video is with a GoPro 11 with a DJI mic. You do need a medium mod for the GoPro in order to use the microphone wireless set up is the clearest audio I have just a pain in the butt to set up sometimes when you’re in a hurry.
@@WestwayFirewood1313 mine is the two microphone one receiver model from last year they’re $250 on Amazon, the DJI mic 2 look nice, but they’re over 300 and some dollars 😳🤣
