New subscriber here. I’m so glad I found you. Now I know why my chamomile didn’t grow this spring. Wrong location and soil coverage. Zone 8b Texas Hill Country. Now that I have learned what to do I’m going to try again. Thank you.
I tried to die this directly in a pot and it didn’t work imma try a tray and it maybe because I tried it in the summer not thinking. Would the humidity done stop it from growing if you have a grow light? And wat about a heat mat?
I show how to sow the seeds in this video. Dont use heat mats. It does not like the heat or humidity. Use a grow light because the seeds require light to germinate.

I’m in zone 4; I direct sowed in spring and got a decent amount all summer. Left some seed heads behind to hopefully self sow 🌸

That was a lot of information! Thank you! It was very helpful to find out they need light to germinate, and that drying is best done without heat.
You are so welcome!
Thanks for sharing. I'm encouraged to try it!

I love Camille tea. I have always purchased from the store. I guess I was planting them wrong why the seeds would not germinate. Thanks for sharing.
Glad my tips have helped
Whats the best time to plant in zone 7?
Either direct sow seeds 5 months before your first winter frost date OR sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before your last spring frost date
@@JerrasGarden Thank you!
