I also started with 19EDO, it’s a nice scale, although I prefer 31EDO now. I find it easier to change the note row offset on the linnstrument for scales with more than 12 notes per octave (or less I guess, not something I’ve tried) so that the rows are still a fourth apart in the new scale, that way the patterns and chord shapes are the same just stretched. It also helps with range. Unfortunately the lights are still going to be in the wrong place, I usually switch them off apart from the one which mirrors the note being played onto the other rows.
I’m curious about how note priority works? If you play 3 notes simultaneously how does the expert sleepers decide which voice to send to which channel?
The Linnstrument cycles through the Midi channels. The way I have FH2 set on this video, each voice is fixed to a channel. With the setup from the previous video, I had it set as round robin voice allocation. You can have prevent voice stealing on or off.
Hi Derek! 4 voices, all analog VCOs through filters and VCAs. IIRC I used two Befaco Even VCOs, two Teezer VCOs, OC as quad EG, and the VCAs were from Befaco Hexmix VCA, and the filters were a mixed bag of analog lowpass.
I'm wondering about how you manage the amount of smoothing per channel, using this set-up? In your previous set-up it was done on-board of the FH-2. In this set-up, do you still make a preset for the amount of smoothing on board?
very nice work
You're my hero, thank you for posting this! All problems solved. Amazing.
Your videos continue to open my mind to new ways of listening and playing.
Awesome!
Thanks for posting this. Its possible 72edo or 96edo with this isomorphic surface?
This is great!!! Yes!!!
Que Genial! 😱

great idea! thanks for the tips, I'll try for sure!

Great stuff! How many and which voices are you using in your rack?

yes same thing! You need to set up a preset with the amount of smoothing you want per output, which is done onboard.
@@QuincasMoreira Thanks! These two vids you've made were so helpful!
