Marloes V , do you wish immigrant communities in the Netherlands to also retain more of their language and culture? Like Dutch-Moroccans? Or do Dutch immigrants in the US get some sort of exception?
@@omarachfay5929 iedereen heeft recht om hun cultuur te behouden het hoeft niet meteen een politieke kwestie van te maken zelf in Nederland zie je dit bijna niet meer dus kan je dr niet gewoon eventjes van genieten
@@omarachfay5929 thats kind of a long stretch to make aint it? Anyhoo, there is a stark difference to wanting to preserve your heritage and providing a nice show for tourists.. Again these are Americans. They consider themselves as such. Dutch-Morocans usually dont.. even of they are 2nd or 3rd generation immigrants (cq full blown dutch) they still say "I am morocan" and try to push that mindset unto others . Even going so far to call morocans whom do consider themselves dutch "traitors" Now this is over-generalizing. Still a majority sadly enough. That is the stark difference.
I am Dutch, from Amsterdam. I am actually interested in the lyrics, I cant hear them very well. Anyone who can publish them here? I do understand the 'Lang zullen ze leven' (Long shall they live) and 'Twee emmertjes water halen' (Carrying two little buckets of water).
Very nice, love from Haarlem
👍😉🇳🇱mooi hoor
I wish the Dutch would spend more time in preserving culture in this way. Thanks for sharing! Fiederie fiedera fiederarara :)
