Guilds are opressive but some are different. So I think avoiding guilds is not a right choice, but should find a guild specific to your tastes, gathering guild, pve guild etc.
Coming here from Eve online, almost every complaint about the black zone translates almost perfectly to Nullsec. I guess its just what happens in this style of game.

Ngl joining any ranking guilds is just pain in any mmo. It took close to 6 months when I made my first friend in albion. I first joined a big guild as a newbie(didn't know anything bout' the game) oh boy was that a mistake and a half a child(makes me a bit uncomfortable calling him a child but he was 11 i believe on discord who was yelling at me when I first joined my first content. We were doing ava roads I was playing from asia 400 ping bad at dodging aoe's. He was yelling at me every flipping time i got hit or just aggro of the mobs btw certain mobs have random aggro in ava roads. 2 days later left the guild lost like 2.5mil when i was in the guild and made like 400k. I just stopped playing after that fast-forward 3 months started playing again this I joined a small guild this time around, and it was good I had a small group of peope to talk to(I prefer smaller to talk bs with) It was fun we did bz content mostly group dungeons sometimes ava roads. I was making more than losing. it was just fun altogether got good memories about the guild. But soon the guild grew has new shot caller all of a sudden. They ruined all the fun mando build, getting yelled at for smallest of mistakes, getting yelled at in pvp(which our guild was pve focused and wanted to get into av raids and hce's) and the leader took the shot caller's side. Left the guild the same day. Now i join new small guilds everytime my old one becomes big and the friend I made and me just do duo bs alll the time when I don't have any guild content to do. That's how my albion life goes coz I don't have a good enough pc to anything else and recently we switched to east coz better ping(rather have 100ping than 400+ now it's even worse for some reason.)

Honestly i feal that the reason why albion online is pushing towards guilds is due to the fact that this major fights leads alot of gear lost. As a result, the “normies” would then be force to use real life cash in order to rebuy their lost gear. Likewise Albion pnline doesnt want to invest in solo playing because if they do, people would become sustainable resulting in less gold or premium being bought. Thus, making the game unprofitable and unsustainable for them since they need money to run the servers using their comps etc. I mean jsut go with the flow, enjoy the game as it is uk 😊

You sound like a down-to-earth, decent fellow despite being one of the well known names in Albion Online and it'd be nice to play some together if we ever run into each other and you ain't doing anything important. casual guilds are better than competetive guilds, u go out as a group of max 15 ppl and everyone is friends and its fun like that, do some pve maybe encounter a small group and fight. everything would be lootsplit and on average u make profit

Am new to this game and joined the very small guild that my friend that made me play this game is in which isn’t bad like this guild but tbh this game isn’t fun , people complain about yellow zone enjoyers but what am I expected to do go in a black zone with 800ip and do what exactly? People can run around with 4.1 but have 1400 ip oh well . Am supposed to risk whatever I got to go out with the guild nah , yes I’ve made silver going out and fame farming or whatever but when is the game supposed to be fun tho ? Yellow mist ? Terrible fame/ money and I just get killed by a 1900 dude for funsies… this game isn’t for me I guess
Guilds are cool if the "core" are bunch of cool people. Sad that they only need a couple of toxic individuals to destroy all of it when the master of the guild is a fool or just a coward

kills in this game work weird. any type of assist you get counts as a kill fo you, so if your a healer you still split the killfame and kill. 7000 kills is a little high for a zvz guild, but its not unreasonable to have a requirement of 1000+kills. very easily achievable.
ZvZ sucks, the prep time, the mess fight, the ofensive callers, its all crap price to pay for be on black zone, and you got some wins, just image if u are on a looser guild
I love your videos and absolutely feel you. I really want to play with you. I wasted so much time doing stupid things and when I started following your guides, I made a lot of fame and became way stronger and of course I enjoy the game way more now
yeah regear sucks lol i was in a guild where my build was like close to 1mil and they can only give me 300k for the current rank i had. plus a lot of bs how we gotta work for them. i quit the day and made my own chill guild lol.
