I was a little surprised with that also. I'm the mechanic at a highway dept we run a viking cives setup metal blade with metal carbines behind it. And replace the nuts and bolts each time they get replaced.
@@shaunhalfacre6606 Ye I csn confirm that's not how the blades are supposed to be used they're making no contact with the ground and just bracing that rubber crap. What a waste of a blade coming from a person that makes them. 👎 They don't want to keep buying new blades but they have to and stop cheaping out.
Nicely done! and THANK YOU to Public Works crews for working so hard to keep roads clear!
Damm this was like nascar for plow trucks!! These guys are no joke! Bad ass gentlemen 👍👍
You guys did a great job over the last week. Thanks tons!
About how often are they replaced? What happens to the ones taken off?
It’s like a NASCAR pit crew for big trucks
Alright..! Looks like a “NASCAR” pit crew…, nice work gentlemen.
Would you happen to know if your trucks have those everblade heated wiper blades?
No, our plow trucks are not equipped with heated wipers.
Interesting. I thought just about every DOT truck had these everblade wipers by now.
What’s the plow company you using?
Oh come on, there is like 3 or 4 of you doing the blade change!! I have to do my blade changes all by myself, I don’t get anyone to help me 😂😂😂😂😂
Why do u use the rubber ones don’t they wear out faster
👍
Rubber that's not good
I could guaranteed 50% plow truck in Ottawa have rubber blade technology on them
@@Lauriaul nop not one
