I absolutely adore mine. Some minor imperfections here and there, but the overall look, size, detail, and articulation absolutely blow the other similarly priced lines out of the water. I’m super glad I preordered when I did. For around $200 after shipping this guy was definitely worth the money, and the small delay it had
Whenever I looked at the figure, I always thought it was cool but then seeing the price always made me confused. This figure shouldn't be that expensive, if this was in the $90 to $120 range than I would probably buy it. It still looks super cool
It should be 20$ max..you ppl dont value your time qt work or you just have it handed handed to you bc for that price is the average persons 2 to 3 days of work. I got a plastic ostrich ill sell you for 150$ and ill write premium bandai on the box so you feel that youre not getting royally fked in the A.
This is a very large improvement for Bandai. The crocodile looks realistic as hell, the joints are on point, the possibilities with the figure are endless! The only issue is the very large price though. I hope they’ll make some birds or marine animals too
Wow Steve! You just opened me to a whole new world!! Wow! I’ve always dreamed to have a fully articulated crocodile or alligator figure and now I find out that bandai is making one. Too bad it costs too much and I live in Italy, this type of things don’t even exist in our minds here, I decided to try for the leopard geko, but I was only able to find a broken one on ebay for 80 dollars. I guess I’ll have to continue dreaming and maybe one day theese figures will be available online in Italy too.
Its cool to see realistic looking and sh monsterarts level articulated figures of real life animals. Can't wait for Bandai to maybe do an elephant or any other animal.
Price is really high considering BANDAI did not have to pay any expensive movie/anime license... That being said, I hope the series will carry on. I would certainly be glad to see animals like grizzly bear, tiger, wolf, lion, elephant...or dinosaurs.
Man, I will never be embarrassed by how expensive my hobbies are after watching this. Don't get me wrong, the figure is impressive. That being said, I'm sure its resell value will be in the back of every collector's mind who bought it.
Amazing figure but like many of the figures that are coming out from overseas the prices are getting obscene. To the point where I'm questioning continuing collecting. At least certain things or lines.
Bandai's candy division is kind of insane. While Tamashii weirdly struggled to do a good Sevenger in both Figuarts and DX, the Minipla version blows them both out of the water.
This is a dope idea theory. A fully articulated 1:12 scale animal line. Companies like Schleich shows that there is a demand for this, but their figurines are cheap. You can look at the the success of the Jurassic Park line, but Jurassic Park is dinosaurs and what kid doesn't like dinosaurs. Sure certain animals would do well like horses, apex predators, (wolves, bears, crocodilians, etc.) Big cats would move. Dudes would buy an elephant just off of strength of it being a big ass elephant. I imagine birds of prey would be popular as well as certain breeds of dogs and bovine. You can throw in mythical beasts, but as you're seeing there's only a finite amount of dope animals. A guy might be on the fence about a 1:12 scale giraffe, panda, reindeer, or big horn sheep, but do you actually see dudes buying squirrels, goats, platypuses, pigeons, roosters, or pigs?
Good luck with the move! I know how frustrating it can be...especially with collectables. My wife and I have moved 3 times and each time, something has either gone missing or vanished. On our first move, one of my most prized figures (ThreeA's Metal Gear Rex) broke its leg and it took forever to find a replacement part. On another note, I love that modern-day reptiles and arthropods are getting cool figures and recognition. As a parent of a dwarf caiman, 16 snakes, 80 tarantulas, 2 red tegus, and the worlds meanest Leachie Gecko, I love this type of stuff! Any form of reptile memorabilia or trinkets is awesome!
Hey Stevens toy review where did u get ur neca godzilla action figures cause when I went to the big bad toy store website I couldn't find a atomic powered neca godzilla so please give me a website that can let me buy the original neca godzilla figure
Ordered mine for around $280 after shipping. I checked Zenmarket, and it is still available for $245 plus shipping, so it seems like I would have paid the same. I am wondering where you get your updates on the new diversity of life products, as I did not know that they are planning on making sea horses. To a lot a collectors, these figures will not seem worthwhile, but for collectors that are animal lovers, like myself, these figures are dream. I may end up using my mine as a prehistoric type crocodile, since I have some future, articulated dinosaur figures that seem like they would scale well with this crocodile.
The ones available through there are resellers in Japan who bought them to resell IN Japan, and ZenMarket is offering to middleman them elsewhere. You can find updates through Bandai's official outlets, like on the Gashapon Twitter, and checking P-Bandai itself. There are quite a few people in my discord server who keep track of the new releases, and the invite is always open!
@@StevensToyReviews I ordered mine through awesome collector around the time Premium Bandai put it up, but I only saw the Singapore one and did not notice the Japanese release. 😗:(Whistle) Bandai put so much effert to this figure I would give this one a 10/10. To me, this one would serve as a Deinosuchus as I have a posable T rex from the Revoltech line.
Hello there! Quick question if you don't mind: how large is the Revoltech T.rex? It's the one from The Lost World: Jurassic Park that you got, right? Would it be compatible with the MonsterArts 2005 Kong? That one's about 6-6.5 inches tall and I'm looking for a properly sized theropod dinosaur to go with it.
Damn. Comes apart right out of the box for a $200 price-point! Bandai is really going down the drain. Save yourself the trouble & just get a Fiona croc from GIJ classified. 1/4 the price for nearly the same look
The US P Bandai site really is underwhelming, they need more stuff, it’s mostly just anime. I don’t wanna pay $90+ to get the Chodo Shin Ultraman figures lol
