  • We have spent several hours talking with award winning audio designer Anthony Grimani about room design, acoustics, speaker placement, and much more. The final piece of the audio room puzzle is calibrating and equalizing the system. This is not as simple as dialing it in by ear, rather this is the proper scientific method using signal generators, mics, and software. This webinar will be a little on the techie side but it will be fun! This is the final session in the AVPro Audio Expert Series with Anthony Grimani so be sure to check it out!

Anthony Grimani is the best! I'm gonna implement as much of this as I can in my dedicated theater build.

Such an amazing episode! It’s wonderful that you go into so much detail, so many folks just hit on the high points leaving us wanting more. I’m going to watch this about 10 more times to get it all into my head.

So it takes this long for a seasoned professional to do this. Imagine how long it would take a novice that's learning as he/she is going

So. Don't EQ above 1 kHz, but add a gentle slope up to 6 kHz - how does that work? And what happens with the slope above 6 kHz? And what happens above 20 kHz if you add a slope when a processor won't let you make any adjustments above 20 kHz? Does the roll of continue, or will you get a crazy spike at 20001 Hz?
