It's crazy how similar their bicolour markings are! I also have a seal and a blue bicolour kittens but their markings are sooo different! Our blue girl's is perfectly symmetrical, whereas our seal girl's only covers one eye and a tiny bit of the other! I love Ragdolls and all the different coats and colourings they have. Your cats are beautiful!
The cuteness factor of these two are just through the roof!! And I gotta say that this house has the most relaxing, laid back atmosphere. It's soothing just watching these clips.
These beauties make me want a Ragdoll !! The most beautiful and playful breed ever, although I still love the way Turkish Vans look too !! 😄😄😃😃😀😀Glad they're getting along together.
@@embodyworks - LOL.... Once you own a Ragdoll that's it your a sunk ship. Over the decades I have owned Siamese, Balinese and Somalis. Been around Persians, Maine Coone's, Norwegian Forest and Birman's. Loved them all but my heart is with the Ragdoll. There is just something special about their personalities. Yes those blue eyes melt your soul. I have seen pics of Isabeau the female I am picking up next weekend. Her eyes are a deep intense blue like a London blue topaz. Navarre the male are more like a sky blue topaz. My 14 yr old is a blue point tortie and her eyes are a a mirage of flecks of different shades of blue. They look like crystals shining in the sun of a river. They are so unusual. Her Dad was a Flame point and Mom was a blue lynx point and neither had those eyes but all 5 babies did. She ended up keeping 3 of the babies and I took 2 as I had already paid in full. The breeder ended up getting very sick and all her cats went to other breeders so I never found out if they were successful at reproducing the eye color.
What is wrong with you having four cats. Totally joking, I have six and I rescued them all. No better way to start the day than with a paw in your ear.
@@robertamcmunn3642 You rescued SIX innocent angels?!? Oh dear, dear lady... I am eternally grateful to you. For your many cardinal acts of compassion & love, may your beautiful, selfless heart forever be profoundly blessed.💕🙏💕
My female Ragdoll was very apprehensive as well when we brought her brother home a few months later. It wasn't planned that way but the person who was supposed to take him ghosted the breeder. From the start he was very outgoing but she kept hiding and hissing. Now they chase each other through the house and play all the time. Aria and River are so cute together! I hope you continue to post videos so we can see how much they darken up over time.
Yes! It is interesting how the seal bi-color darkens over time. Aria's back is much darker now. She has a little crescent moon on her back. River is getting darker around the eyes. Glad you have 2, too!
How delightful watching River exploring his new home as Aria watched his every move. Your house was made for these kittys. I'm sure that they will bond together well. 😺😸❤❤
I love your channel and the kitties. They are so sweet and your videos are so sweet and peaceful to watch. Thank you for brightening my day! I love your home, too. It's so cozy and lovely.
I remember when my dad while during his last remaining months from a long term illness would always love it when our cat would sleep at the end of the couch, and would not let me or mum bother the cat. He would always say that despite all the medication and morphine he was on, nothing brought him more comfort then when the cat was sleeping or sitting on the couch next to him
You have the sweetest cats :) I also like the view they have out the windows and you have a lovely home in which two very pampered and loved angels live :)
These cats are incredibly beautiful and the videos sooo relaxing. Also, your home is absolutely gorgeous and so cozy. I love the style of your videos. Subscribed! Thank you!
4:49 Aria 😾: They're my toys! How dare you are to play with them! 😳 Well~ This live show of a playful kitten isn't that bad. Much better than watching TV! 🥳
Okay Aria is a blue bi-color and River is a seal bi-color. It's sometimes hard to tell when they are so young as their full coloring does not come out fully until they are 3. They will get along just fine in no time since they are so young. I can't wait to get my 2 new babies on the 28th but I won't have it as easy as you due to their ages and my 14 yr old. I am used to it and they will get used to each other too. Ragdolls are not naturally aggressive cats so that helps. They are both precious and may you have years of love with them.
@@embodyworks - I sure will. I might wait until they settle in. The 2 new ones know each other so that won't be the issue. It's my 14 yr old who has been alone just over a year now and she may not like having company again. Although she was raised around other cats and large breed dogs. I am hoping she will be happy about it in time. I will need to comfort and reassure her I am sure of that as she has become very attached lately. Sometimes it's easy and sometimes it takes time. All depends on the personalities. He is more laid back and she apparently is very demanding for attention. My older one is very laid back at her age but can get fiesty at times. She has just become crazy glue to me so I am hoping it's because she has become lonely when I am at work.
@@embodyworks - it's been 3 weeks and Navarre & Isabeau have settled in. Granted my 15 yr old Katiya was not too thrilled and we had a few spats but nothing serious. Navarre took over right away and has zero fear and a mush ball. He originally came from a breeder in TN and is stunning. He is HUGE at 24 lbs but not overweight at all just large boned. He has the typical light blue eyes. Isabeau is tiny at 9 lbs and took longer to adjust. She is not spayed and although the breeder said she had not gone into heat again for her. She went into heat on day 3 with me. Such fun dealing with that...lol. So that did not help her adjust at all. Once it was over 2 weeks later she quickly came around but is still adjusting slowly but steadily. She is tentative and moves at her own speed. She has taken to sleeping on the pillow next to me tho. She will get fixed on 7/10 so hoping once she recovers from that I will see her settle in more. Her eyes are amazing and a deep royal blue. Katiya is better about her home being invaded but still has her moments where she hisses. Her age also makes her much calmer and Navarre loves the zoomies so think that upsets her a little but now she actually joins in. Older cats do take a little longer to adjust so I am pretty happy so far considering everything. How are Aria & River doing?
Another great way to get them to play together is with a pole toy. My vet recommended it to us. Whenever we adopt a new kitten, we get a new one with a long string and use it to entice both of them to play with it. Eventually, they bump into each other trying to get whatever is on the end of the string and start to groom each other, almost as a way of apologizing (or asserting dominance), A laser pointer also works but it’s exhausting because they never forget it’s in a drawer, somewhere.
Good tips! If you love the laser toy, check out the Dancing Dots laser toy from PetSafe. It’s awesome. It hangs on the doorknob and the laser moves on its own. You can even set it off to go on throughout the day.
@@embodyworks I haven’t seen the Dancing Dots laser toy but it sounds great! We will look for it and give it a try! Everyone in my family (kids included) are tired of the manual pointers. The cats love them and they are fun for them and great exercise but they never want to stop with playing! No matter where we hide them, their spider sense sniffs them out and they meow at the hiding places until someone relents and starts playing with them and the pointer again.
River has a lot of spunk! But he’s more of a playmate than an explorer like Aria. How can you get ANYthing done with these entertainers being their delightful selves?! (I see you screened off the plants.)
Exactly! River really wants attention. Aria could take it or leave it. I used to do a lot more cycling and trail running. Now I rush home after work to be with the cats.
There are many plants that are dangerous to cats. I hope you’ve checked out all your house plants and they aren’t nibbling on any. They’re beautiful, I had one many years ago.
Only a little. Ragdolls are lovers, not fighters. With the wetland area behind the house, there are much bigger cats (mountain lions) for them to contend with, so they'll be supervised.
@@embodyworks wauw, mountain lions! I guess they are bigger than forest cats… In which country are you living? I’m from Denmark and the only ‘scary’ animals we have here are the couple of wolves putting out to balance the animal population of our forests
Did you already plan to have river when you locked up Aria? She didn't have much time to really settle in before introducing a new cat. Both beautiful. I have a Birman and they have very similar temperaments.
Yes, River was already planned when Aria became available. I had read a lot about having 2 ragdolls because they are so social. Aria was home for 5 weeks and then River came home at 11 weeks old.
I was letting him smell her scent from the room and his food was set up in the other room. Didn't want to upset his tummy with something new. Funny thing, they ended up swapping food. He eats her brand and she eats his brand.
Neither seem to be territorial or defensive over food, so I expect they'll be fine. Aria might have the upper hand now but once they're both grown River might have a few bonks on the head to return with interest!
I don't think it was love at first sight with Aria and River. Curiosity yes. She was 7 months and he was 11 weeks. She probably thought the kitten was replacing her when she saw him playing with her toys, especially since she'd been rehomed. Just saying. However they're both adorable and it's good to see them getting along like big sister and little brother
Yes I do! I think I have one of the best views in town. It's such a great spot with the wetlands behind us, a pond, a flowing creek, bike path, tons of birds...the only bad part- winter lasts too long!

It's so funny that Aria investigated the whole house thoroughly, whilst the playful kitten kept being distracted with toys :D very cute both of them!
Yes, so true. Aria pays attention if something is out of place. She is quite the observer.
