What a player - have nothing but respect for Mo. Didn't work out at Chelsea, went to Italy and had a great impact at Fiorentina and then Roma. When Liverpool signed him, I wonder what the expectation was - 10 goals a season and 5 assists perhaps?... maybe a step above Luis Garcia or Dirk Kuyt. But to go and become regarded as one of the best players in the world over the last 8 years is just phenomenal. I've seen people who have said Suarez or others were more exciting, but thats unfair - Mo has scored types of goals that noone else in the premier league did in those years - think about the goals against Everton, Spurs, City - absolutely magical. And finally his choice to stay at Liverpool, and not chase the money that could be on offer elsewhere speaks volumes about the man. Absolutely amazing individual!

If Trent was a player Liverpool bought, he deserves the utmost respect for what he has done. The issue is that Trent is the dream every Liverpool fan lives...a local lad leading our club to the pinnacle. The pain is that dream us shattered, its not a reflection on Trent, but on the horrible reality of life. Trent is a great, but we all wished he would take us to further greatness and we could live our dreams through him...Boos are incredibly harsh...but also a measure of how much he means.

I’ve got nothing really with football but Mo is one of those famous and special players everyone knows. That peeked my interest. I got stuck as it was so refreshing and honest. I wish there was more of this style. Not just in football.
I really like Mo alluding to Trent's mental health and the depression that can stem from feeling caged or being in the same place for twenty years. It's draining. Seeing the same streets every day, parking in the same spot, the same routine, the same food, the same sights. It gets draining. I've done it. Really appreciate that perspective. YNWA.
Mohd Salah is a great man. His response to all Gary's questions are all honest, respectful and very diplomatic. A very humble and professional man! Liverpool is very fortunate to have him and his service for so many years. Hope he goes on to achieve many more trophies and titles.

As an Arsenal fan, I'd put his ability and legacy up there with Henry. A generational player and person that has consistently lit up the premier league.
I think Mo is one of the best players ever to play for Liverpool. Certainly better than anyone else who has ever played in his position. He's one of the best players in Europe, if not the world, and has been for five years. He's as good as Messi and Ronaldo easily. H deserves the Balon d' Or, for him to not win it is a disgrace. I totally agree with his comments about Trent. I was really put off as a supporter. We have supported all sorts of players who have come and gone from the club, under all sorts of circumstances. Trent has never once let the club down in all the time he played for us. A brilliant interview and it was well put together by Gary. Interesting and entertaining.
As a rival fan I got to give Liverpool credit they always build up their future hall of fame players. NO ONE wanted to take the risk on Salah and look what he’s become. Look how they tuned Mane and Virgil from decent players to legends. Trent, Robinson, McAlister there analytics are incredible
Mo speaks with so much honesty, humility, and clarity. His love for Liverpool, his self-discipline, and the way he embraces change is incredible. Not just a world-class player, but a true leader and inspiration. YNWA ❤
And the way Slot told him, not being rude, but telling him how important he is for the club. That he is setting an example, if he is not giving his best, the rest will follow
Slot the modern coach. Psychologist, tactician, counsellor, manager, strategist, boss and instructor. Knows what to say, when to say it, and how to say it.
Mo possesses a deep understanding of the game and its tactical dimensions. He knows precisely what he wants, and more importantly, how to achieve it. In my view, it’s only a matter of time before he emerges as a truly top coach.
Of course...lfc should stop paying fees for players and advice them rundown their contracts..and lfc will get everyone...salah speak only on one part of issue..its ok,but other part is club bussiness and trent not looked at club...
Each player, each person which worked with Slot, are impressed by his tactical knowlegde and the way he can influence a game during the game. I love that. Also how clear he is in what he expects of others.
I think what salah bout trent being with Liverpool for 20 years is right, like u can only love a place for soo long until you accomplish everything there is to offer and for a player of his caliber he needs a new challenge and is really good for a player his age . We should cherish what he has given us and give him a proper farewell ❤
Superb interview with our Mo. Loved the honesty and insight, which was very interesting. I think it shows that Slot is a very driven and determined manager who isn’t afraid to have tough conversations with the players - even the elite ones. That really gives me a lot of hope for the future, with Slot adding new players to the squad to take us forward. I also wonder if Mo’s words about Trent will touch a nerve with the fans, who may go a little easier on him now they’ve vented their anger, which I think was understandable albeit difficult to see and hear.
It reminded me of Stevie G.....ngl..I was so upset when torres and xabi left.....BUT when Stevie gave his take on their transfer.........I just calm down a tad bit...because if Stevie G understood why they left.......I as a fan...should take a step back and chill abit.....😅😅 Owen is a different story😂😂😂😂😂😂

He speaks such great English, dealing with hard questions like this. I love Mo Salah - what a geezer.
The Leadership mentality to put his neck on the line to have Trents back is elite. He knows that chastising the fans can back fire but he says what he feels. Great respect to him for that.

@wall-e7179 I wouldn't have booed Trent personally but you can't call the people who did not real fans they are the ones that walk in week and week out they are right to feel hurt but time will heal Trent's legacy especially if Frimpong fills in
What a player - have nothing but respect for Mo. Absolutely amazing individual!
everything you said is true, other than the suarez thing. suarez was in ties with messi/ronaldo/neymar. salah in my opinion for liverpool is their best ever player but GOAT title, he's not there

He's never the best player. He has great stats in the Liverpool system. Never turns up in finals or in massive games 👀

I think he’s put it perfectly about Trent. Moving to England was the best decision I’ve ever made. Doesn’t mean I hate my hometown just means I needed a change after being there for 28 years.

Arguably Liverpools greatest player's understanding of what it is to not only represent Liverpool football club. But to show class and dignity in difficult situations. I'm so happy with his response to Trent. And his opinion on the fans Actions..(not the fans feelings, ge told nobody to how to feel) but if there is someone to be inspired by their actions it's Mo. I agree with him....Trent deserves love from his people. x
We love Mo, we loved his little girl scoring in front of the Kop & we love that it's an honour to have such a player, such a Gentleman at our Club but as for Trent isn't it the other way round? Doesn't the club who has made Trent who he is, paid him ridiculous amounts of money in wages, given him the chance to win the Champions League, the Premier League title & win every honour that it's possible to win in club football deserve love & respect? Don't the fans who've made genuine sacrifices to support the team home & away who've backed Trent every step of the way deserve the love?
