One of two things happened, either it' just got weaker with age or the seller topped the bottle off with water because a full bottle sells for more than a used one. I'm leaning toward the second option tho because I have a bottle of original 1970 Old Spice that smells like it should, stronger than the new version. And that bottle is older than your Skin Bracer.

I do not know what year, but there are some vintage sb videos here on you tube. So perhaps that can help. I do agree, that a glass bottle is better, when it comes to the scent profile. I love skin bracer. Fantastic after shave, i wanted Douglas to make a skin bracer soap also. Lol. 😍😁👍

They seem to forget that money isn't everything, with much loved brands like old spice, brut, skin bracer the priority should be iconic scent retention and not just making an extra few pence, have a great week buddy, thanks for your support 👍 I really do appreciate it 👍

How do you decanter those aftershaves? Just pour them into a glass bottle? Does it need to be a special one made for an aftershave or would any glass container work? I might try picking up a glass container from a store nearby and putting my Aqua Velva or Skin Bracer in it

It's definitely a different recipe--just like Spanish to newer American Aqua Velva. Must try the Skin Bracer...it's been decades. I wonder about Brut. I wish High Karate was still around--that was a trip !
