He looked at the judge, laughed, and told the judge "you can't get blood out of a turnip." The judge lowered his glasses on his nose, looked at the dude, laughed a little, and said "no sir I can't get blood out of a turnip but I sure know how to can them" I about died 😂😂

Juries are selected by both the Defense and Prosecution in a process called "Voir Dire" (latin for "to speak the truth"). The process consists of a pool of individuals randomly chosen from the community - the criteria of which varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. What is crucial to remember is that, without fail, most individuals when summoned will try their hardest to get out of serving on a jury, which can have the unintentional effect of racially skewing the pool of potential jurors. By and large the typical individuals that serve on a jury are citizens who have an understanding of the necessity for the roles Juries play (they are an indispensable factor in American Jurisprudence) as well as a sense of community involvement. Where they were kidnapped by those weird hillbilly people and put them in that weird house with the roller coaster.... The crooked judge ran the whole town....... The jury is supposed to be 12 of your peers, I was called to jury duty & they pick & then the prosecutor & the lawyer have to agree on who to pick, the judge said it's kind of like a lottery. It's pretty time consuming.
That is part of the process called "voir dire". The prosecutor's goal is to find jurors that will be sympathetic to the victim, and obviously the defense attorney's goal is the opposite, to get jurors that will be sympathetic to the defendant.

People who are called to possibly be on a Jury (Jury Pool) are summoned randomly. Once you have a bunch of randomly selected people to possibly be on a Jury, each individual is questioned by the prosecution and Defense. No person is actually placed on the final Jury until both the Defense and Prosecution agree that a particular individual can be on the final Jury. If one side objects to a person in the Jury pool being on the actual jury, that person is sent away. Defense could have objected to any one of those jurors for any reason and then they would not have been on the final Jury. This guy is just a bunch of excuses so that he can blame everyone else other than himself for what HE did. HE is the one who killed his wife.

I separate myself, I take a few hours to calm down, whether it's a different part of the house, or I run a few errands, schedule a job, etc. More than half the time I forget what we originally were arguing over or what I was upset with originally or even realizing it's not that bad of a reason which caused the argument in the first place. You make up, and move on and love your family. Your family trusts you to the fullest, and that's how anyone can handle most cases. Good job judge! 👏 ❤
