HUGE Thank you for this video. I just received my machine and your video helped me. I was missing the step of locking the thread in thread feeder. before going to step 7.

Wow! I struggled and struggled, and voiced quite a few expletives along the way. I finally gave up (better than throwing a chair through a window) and used a little Dritz needle threader. It worked, but I wanted to figure out the Janome thing. Your video was 100% helpful. I followed your directions and threaded the needle first try. Thank you for this video! -Dennis

@@Heathers_Handbags If you're interested, I did a video of using my Janome 9850 to embroider some custom patches for the aprons I use in my cooking videos. It's here:

Thank you so much. I’ve had this machine for over 18 months and due to several surgeries and long recoveries I have not used it or had lessons on it. I would be very happy to have any tutorials you would like to share. The needle threader is one of the most important aspects to me because I have a terrible time threading the needle and I had an older memory craft with an automatic needle threader and I miss it so much and I just cannot cope without a needle threader and you have made this much easier for me to understand because the book does not explain it very well at all so thank you so much and please if you have any more tips and tricks I’d be so happy to Learn. God bless you and thank you for helping people who need it just like me.❤❤

I missed the alligator mouth step. Thank you for showing how to do it.

Also, please keep posting videos about this machine! The information is so scarce out there! It should come with a video of how to do most anything!

Thank you so much for posting the tutorial video on threading the Janome sewing machine! My mother was about to pull her hair out! I wish they would give you a detailed .a manual. You are a lifesaver! Maybe the manufacturer of the machine should pay you for your tutorials. Thanks again!☺

I've had my machine a couple years now. I'm just starting to see videos about it . Mine doesn't have a sticker like that for the needle threader. Thank you for this one

Thank you so much for making videos on the 9850. There is a Facebook group on the Janome 9850 where they did how to thread properly. Never had to do this on my 1950s singer. I'm seriously thinking of trading this one in for the Janome S9. But I was still need your videos, thank you!

Great video. I just received my machine and the instruction book is not the easiest to follow. For the price of the machine a color instruction book would have been much better. Took me a bit to figure out the bobbin winder. Maybe you can do a beginner video on that too. Thanks

I just got my 9850 and I'm having a terrible time with the needle threader it just does not line up do you have any suggestions? I have learned how to move the automatic threader to the right and the left but I cannot move it up and down? Please help! BTW I loved your video you had a nice close up of your machine and you spoke in a loud voice which is very important! Especially for the elderly! LOL

Thank for your upload! I was never able to learn the auto-threader on my previous machine. It's always nice to learn new features on one's machine. 🧵
