when creaming butter and sugar, i cream until the mixture is light and fluffy. when adding the other wet ingredients, i mix until it's as well-combined as can be. when adding the dry ingredients, i mix until JUST combined, never overmixing or else the dough will become tough. if adding other things like nuts or chocolate chips at the very end, i usually don't need more than 5-10 seconds on low for those add-ins to be well-distributed throughout the dough. hard to dictate minutes because not all stand mixers use the same speeds, and because scraping down the bowl affects how you're combining the ingredients. judging by appearance will make the process a lot more intuitive with experience :)
These are cookies great to just keep in the cookie jar all the time because they’re so good... everyone loves them. And make-ahead to make in a hurry any time. Love everything about this recipe!

This one is amazinggg. It just melted inside mu mouth. This recipe was my 4th attempt on cookies. This is the only recipe which came out nice. I had to add a little more flour than mentioned to get the consistency. Baked for 15 minutes. Thankyouu!
I tried making this again today. I measured the flour and made the dough. Still it was not in the consistency to be rolled. Even after I put them in fridge,it is still soft and had to scoop and bake. Can anyone help me understand what might have gone wrong?
@@neerajasuresh3752 i have the same problem, i added everything in the right proportions and my dough was too sticky to be rolled, i added more flour but it still was kind of a problem to roll and when i cut it, the whole thing would just flatten at the place where i cut

Made these butter cookies for my hubby for Valentine's Day! First time making cookies from scratch and they were a hit! Sheesh! I added some yummy vanilla icing decorations too! Used heavy cream instead of regular milk in the powdered sugar icing. Used cake flour for my cookie batter. Added vanilla bean paste in the batter and the icing for more depth of vanilla flavor. Didn't have sanding sugar to roll the cookie dough in, so just used my evaporated cane sugar. #yummygoodness #proudofmyself #valentinescookies 😍🥰❤️
Ok, I was inspired to get off my couch and make these delicious cookies - and the recipe did not disappoint ! I did add just a little almond extract, because why not? Great with tea !
I baked these with chocolate chips ( put them after i cut them) and they were amazing. My whole family loved them and i also made one for my dog ( no chocolate chips) and he wanted more but i only made one since its kinda unhealthy. They were really buttery and had a great texture.

A small suggestion: mention how many minutes the mixer was on for so we can have an idea of how long we should leave it to. It kinda helps me

A Real melt-in- the-mouth ! Especially when it's still slightly warm, straight off the oven!
Ingredients:
All purpose flour- 2 cups/ 240 gr
Room tempurture unsalted butter- 1 cup/ 226gr
Salt- 1/2 teaspoon
Granulated sugar- 1/2 cup /100 gr
Egg yolks- 2
Vanilla extract- 2 teaspoons.
Baking:
350° Fahrenheit/ 176° Celsius for 10 - 12 minutes.
Made these cookies, and it was absolutely delicious, just melt in mouth.... Saving this recipe forever 😀 thank you!!
