Never knew something so small and cute could make such a horrible sound. Lord that was terrible. The patience of the parents is something we should all admire. We could learn a thing or two from animals.
Javier Guzman I live close to a bird store and they have babies there. I go there to get pellets and stuff for my cockatiel and holy shit, they have these cute little babies. They have conures and cockatiels, sometimes parrots. There are usually 4 cockatiels in there and they make that sound. It’s pretty obnoxious, but they are just too cute.
Was visiting a bird store recently to look for a new movable stand for my parrot, they had a cockatoo fledging in one of the glass things they used for the younger birds. Poor thing looked pitiful begging for food like that, though I’m pretty sure it likely terrified the less experienced customers that there was something wrong. Store was also pretty nice for having parrots you could interact with since they’ve all been hand fed and socialized; I got to enjoy playing with a Rainbow Lory while there, sneaky little bugger like trying to make a game of nipping my fingers. Still was pretty cute though
Okay Son, today- EEEUUUGGGGGGGUUUEEEEE Son. So to- EEEUUUUUUGGGGGGGUUUEEEEEeeee TODAY WE ARE GOING- AAAWWWWWWKKKWWEEEEeeee SON...S-son..you have to try to- AAAEEEEEEWWWUUEUEEEEEEAAaaa *father eats in silence, though he is not really hungry, his eyes bulging from the headache* eeeEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAWWWWWWKKKKKKWEEEEEE *suddenly quiet, baby takes a nibble of the food on his own* ..........oh thank bird jesus.
Giri young birds suck to be around, when they're hungry. They are adorable all over the place, and suddenly they seem to think "shit, I never had food before.. REEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Giri - Right? I thought someone was vacuuming in the background or something and I was like "why would you record something while someone is vacuuming?" I had no idea that they screeched liked that. I wouldn't be able to take it.
Movie Girl its not so bad I got my cockatiel at a month old and she begged exactly like that but once you handfeed them they stop 😊😊 they do the cutest chirping noises while you handfeed them with the syringe
animeluver22113 - I was just so surprised that little thing could produce such big noise! I'm glad to know it's temporary...lol. I wouldn't mind having one for a pet.
i'm sure it's both. think of it, you're a defenseless chick who needs lots of food. why not make scary noises that act as your request for food? might scare a predator or two.
Baby: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHH dad: just shut up and watch me Baby: EEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHH dad: shush just like this Baby: *tries to eat* dad: omg im so proud (phew my headache is done)
TurkeyBoy55 This dad is so patient. My budgies would get so frustrated if the chicks kept nagging them for food, and when trying to teach them how to eat😄

Now you use your beak to -gib food -grab a small piece and put it in your mouth - *gib food* -Now, you have to - - *_DAD FOOD NAO_*
This is like a scene in a restaurant everybody has experienced. A couple and their screaming toddler. And white bird at the far end is you trying to enjoy your meal through all the annoying screaming, hoping to god the parents will either finally do something about it or leave.
Just as they act some of us do. Loved it and good lesson. Loved everyones patience. People would have shouted or taken away or who knows what. Very beautiful. Thank you.
We have a family of blue Jays and Cardinals. It is hilarious to watch them sit on the bird feeder, flapping their wings and screaming at ANY bird, hopping to be fed.
Look how PROUD papa was when he did get it. And he watched him eat ever so carefully at first, to make sure everything went smoothly. Then he joined in happily to seal the joyous moment.
I handfed a cockatiel birb and they do this no stop. And they are so cute, you love them, you want to spoil them, and then you spoil them and the learn that if they do that hell sound they will have what they want. So they keep doing that even when they are young adult and on solid food. But they have wings and they can fly, so they follow you everywere screaming hell noises in your ears. You have to hide while you eat becase otherwise it'a suddendly jurassic park birb edition. And they are sneaky, they fly on your plate and steal your food too. I miss that crazy fluffball so much 😢
omg that sounds like a small nightmare. We are just trying to wean our handfed baby and he is doing the same desperate power-begging all dayyy longggg. But he will not learn from me that the begging is getting him anywhere - especially since he is already eating on his own hahaha spoiled bird brat
Kira ow okay that means we will stop feeding by hand and ignore his begging until he gets used to it. I guess he also just loves the formula, he even eats the drops of it from the ground!
What a great Dad. Every human parent should watch this. We need to be this patient, we need to show our children that we can outlast them, that we are Adults and know better in a loving way like this. 99% of children will eventually give in and go with the program. No yelling or screaming from the parent. The child feels loved and valued for the time their parent took to teach them. The child also loves and respects the parent. And the adult feels pride in the child's accomplishment. Not easy at all, but imperative.
Oh god, my baby cockatiel drove me crazy with that satanic ritual noise. The father has the patience of a saint and I like how he nonchalantly kept eating to set an example.
This is a very rare moment to watch and record: a baby giving up on begging food from parents and starting to eat on his own. Beautiful. And the expression of the satisfied father in the end is also priceless.
Very cute. I have 2 teils one was a baby when I got him. He put me thru the same thing. Lol. But he learned to eat watching the other eat. That's how it goes. Real cute still.
People SHOULD be shown this, as prep, to understand what REAL parenting means. It's not having a trophy, toy or "mini me". You are there to facilitate their development. It's a huge undertaking, completely worthwhile, a great blessing and enormous privilege that many people do not get, and endlessly exhausting. So, people should take it on, but they should work on themselves first, so that they have the internal discipline to live up to it. Not saying you must be perfect as a parent, but just as there is nothing wrong with marriage, people just don't prepare for it anymore, and in fact--are essentially creating situations where they don't have the tools to maintain one, they're doing the same things with parenthood.
I don't think I've ever seen a cockatiel look quite so much like they're absolutely done with life as that papa does about mid-way through the video. The best human comparison I can make is to a father of triplets, all girls, all three years old, with their mother away on some spa vacation for the weekend because she's just too darn worn out. That's what the papa cockatiel looks like to me. xD Edit: Oh, and it's time to watch Frozen for the ten bajillionth time that year.
I like how the father looks very proud once his son starts eating.
Awww yess that was the best moment 😍😍😍😍
"That's my boy." [manly tear]
I think he looks stunned.
It's more "finally, how could u not get how to do this "
More like "Wait... wtf just happened...?"
So... Even birbs have the "tired parents" face...
Tami Otani .....i loved fathers look of....so it begins as it ends...!
Lambda?
😂
At the end, you can almost see the look on the dad's face as if to say, "I have the worst headache". Lol.
Sam N Ella and they really do drive you crazy you cannot ignore them when thet make that noise!!
knightofdreamz God, y did I decided to watch the kids this week. Fuck, I need a drink!!
Haha
I was thinking the same.
Lmao his facial expressions is priceless
Dad's face @1:45 is hilarious. When his son finally stops making that horrible sound, he just sits there enjoying the silence for a bit.
Nah, he's proud his son finally learned to eat on his own.
I think your bird needs new batteries
No, you just have to turn it off and on again
laughed. Thank you.
Oye The Great restart?
Screm
Plug that little shit into a TCP/IP handshake, and let’s get some 56.6K action going on.
The relief on his face at the end, lol.

Jessica Anderson LMAOO. 😂

Clover Jean screenshot. love this 😹
Clover Jean
That's exactly right! Very creative! The father looked exhausted at the end.
The "begging" sounded a lot less cute than expected.
Suo Zheng it's like that with human children too
It's so sad
@@Skite123 it isnt sad its teaching is it sad that a human child goes to school no
"Hey dad wanna hear a tv when it goes to static"
Musical Sandwhich magic dancing sandwich

Yellow Waffle nice? I think they just wanted him to shut the fuck up
whoa edgy dude
Sooo cute! Especially how when the baby finally got closer to the seed, the dad stopped and watched for a bit to make sure she got it.
DID YOU JUST ASSUME IT'S GENDER
I think it's non binary
I think it's a dog
holy shit the awful static sound is the baby? i thought it was just a bad mic

*REGHHHEEEHHHH*
For such pretty birds they make horrible noises as chicks! When I first herd my chicks doing it I thought they were trying to act big and tough lol
i'm sure it's both. think of it, you're a defenseless chick who needs lots of food. why not make scary noises that act as your request for food?
might scare a predator or two.
bubbler891 mine only did it when she was getting scritches. She's almost an adult now so she doesn't do it anymore. But it was so qt
It's further proof that electric pencil sharpeners are a kind of cockatoo.
VolkColopatrion I don't think a predator will get scared from this sound. A predator who eats those birds probably regocnizes the sounds they make.
It took me ten seconds to realize that sound was coming from the baby
Lily Woodrow yea they sound like little hungry monsters 😂
Lily Woodrow same 😂
Baby: EEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHH
Mom: Beb

This is bird crack. THey never get enough. LOL.
Love how the Dad watches the chick eat and the mother joins in, like she realised that the Dad finally got through to the youngling.
I taught he was trying to tune a radio channel

pogi09282805724 please shut up
That what baby Cockatiels actually sound like when crying I have one right now
amazing at 1:57
dad is waiting for him to have a take on it.
and then noticing he doesnt bites hard enough he exaggerates his bites, cause the young one to also start biting harder.
Notice how the big one only starts eating after the baby birb stops screaming
I thought that was great!😆
It takes a village
poor dad XDDD " you are a grown ass bird eat on your own" XD
Milk Bone Hiya! I've seen you comment on a few of these bird videos and such now, this one is hilarious.
Now my female budgie is agitated because she hears a hungry baby but doesn't know where it is.
oh god, did you get footage?
And this is why I watch these videos to simple fuck with my own birds lom
Oh no protective birb
The random fat one is me
Too Cool Fur School Animals I don't know why but this made me laugh hard

It's not fat though they just fluff their feather's up sometimes mine does that too lol
He waited for the baby to stop crying before he joined in for dinner
Too Cool Fur School Animals lmfao
Our baby budgies just learned how to eat on their own. Their dad had to go through this 4 times.
TurkeyBoy55 This dad is so patient. My budgies would get so frustrated if the chicks kept nagging them for food, and when trying to teach them how to eat😄
TurkeyBoy55 my chicks picked up eating right away.
How do you get them to drink water?
-dad gib food
-Okay son, you are a big boy now so I'm gonna teach you how to do it yourself.

"WOULD SOMEBODY GET THIS KID A HAPPY MEAL!?!?"
Mum turned back like this is my alone time u deal with them
Sounds like a dinosaur mixed with a broken furbee

This is like a scene in a restaurant everybody has experienced. A couple and their screaming toddler. And white bird at the far end is you trying to enjoy your meal through all the annoying screaming, hoping to god the parents will either finally do something about it or leave.

"If you don't eat this food here without help, then you don't eat. Get it?"
We have a family of blue Jays and Cardinals. It is hilarious to watch them sit on the bird feeder, flapping their wings and screaming at ANY bird, hopping to be fed.
tHE FACE OF THE DAD AT THE END XD he was like finally some peaace
their mum is beautiful
Look how PROUD papa was when he did get it. And he watched him eat ever so carefully at first, to make sure everything went smoothly. Then he joined in happily to seal the joyous moment.

Tchikanii don't spoil your birb or your life will become literally hell. Their screams are very powerful lol
Kira ow okay that means we will stop feeding by hand and ignore his begging until he gets used to it. I guess he also just loves the formula, he even eats the drops of it from the ground!
If an animal can indeed feel proud, I'm sure Father must have felt it.
look how proud he is when his babbi finally eats
LOL He's quite the squawker until he gets it figured out.
It's more like he's listening to death metal.
The Dad just thinks "your to old for that shit"
The look of pure joy on the dads face is priceless😤😤🤗
Other birds are like STFU !!

That's a proud dad right there
very patient dad. That's why every family needs a father
Oh god, my baby cockatiel drove me crazy with that satanic ritual noise. The father has the patience of a saint and I like how he nonchalantly kept eating to set an example.
Most patient dad ever! It's like a languishing RC car, taking endless laps around a wooden floor, refusing to die...
Aww daddy's so proud! Or happy he can finally take out his earplugs.
Like, you can't see the emotion that well, but look at how proud the dad is after the baby finally takes a bite of the food
so cute teaching his baby how to enjoy millets
What a patient father . What a loud teenager !!
Dad birb has way more patience than me. Would have put my kid in time out if he was centimeters from my face and screaming at me. lol

The relief on dads face! I used to raise cockatiels, the daddies are the hardest working dads! ❤️
MOAAAAAAAR
when baby notices s/he can take for himself...
papa: *pause.... amaze*
This is a very rare moment to watch and record: a baby giving up on begging food from parents and starting to eat on his own. Beautiful. And the expression of the satisfied father in the end is also priceless.
omg this is the cutest thing I ever seen lol ♡
What a beautiful moment!
Loved dad's reaction!
Proud dad birb eating with his family
Things sure got more quiet once he figured it out! Precious! Thanks for sharing! Jesus loves you!
Daddy Cockatiel: You must learn to get food yourself, my child.
Baby Cockatiel: *autistic screeching*
Oh the blessed silence when he finally gets it!
Very cute. I have 2 teils one was a baby when I got him. He put me thru the same thing. Lol. But he learned to eat watching the other eat. That's how it goes. Real cute still.

Edit: Oh, and it's time to watch Frozen for the ten bajillionth time that year.
Love the snapping of their beaks when they eat. 😍

Father: cALM THE FUCK DOWN SON

Proper parenting....WITH BIRDS!!!!
That is one patient Dad!! 20 seconds in, I was ready to smack that annoying thing lol
"And that was the day I went from being a bird boy to being a bird person!"
