Sir, U have some god level dedication to this channel, every day I am getting a new notification for a video, and unlike many U keep putting high quality content consistently. Don't worry about subscribers or views, There will be some die hard followers of U who will lift this channel because U teaching is in some another level. Keep up with the good work.
You are 100% right This channel helped me much. I saw many channels having much subscribers but not having explanation like this channel. Thanks you sir. Keep it up one day you will get 1,00,00,000 subscribers
This video made my day! like literally i was so stressed over what command line arrguments are and stuff, i searched a lot on the internet and i couldn't find any good explanation that i could grasp, then i watched this and the calculator exercise and it helped a lot! Thank you Sir!
DOUBT: argv is the array of pointers. so to access the arguments passed , shouldn't it be like *(argv[ i ]). since (argv + i) returns address of the pointers pointing to arguments. *(argv + i) returns the pointer itself pointing to our arguments. **(arg + i) or *(argv[ i ]) returns the value after dereferncing the pointers, i.e our arguments
Argv[i] simply return values stored in it while *argv[] return address of a pointer simply *ptr =$a stores adress of a ptr = a simply what value stored in it
argv is not the array of pointers. It is simply an array whose elements are strings by default. When we define array either we define it by its name as "char array[ ]" or "char *array". So here >> "char const *argv[ ]" we are simply defining array and nothing else.
I am unable to understand anything from this video ( I think like here unnecessary things have been spoken( said) a lot( I think its your way(style ) of teaching)in the place of explaining what actually comand line argument is, my review) don't take it personal I have watched your 15hr c language video 🎥 completely 2 times and it was great 👏 amazing
**and if you have not said anything unnecessary that whatever you were trying to explain , I am totally unable to understand it.. they way your were explaining... it's hard to understand ( be a marksman) ( speak point to point)
10:33 the title should be" let's go to visual studio code and write some command line arguments" instead of "let's go to visual studio code and write some file is code"
argc - Argument Counter, argv - Argument Vector/Array
