Currently heading into Burgoyne’s 400th game this week and had to watch this last quarter. He single handedly won the game for the hawks, directly involved in three goals. What a champion. Was at that game and still is my favourite game of all time.

Love our old coach, such a shame that things have been so rough for a true Hawthorn champion. I think Kennett was behind the scenes trying to ruin him in a way only sitter politician could.
this win was very important. coming back from a prelim loss in 2010 and GF loss the year before, this match defined their legacy. and obviously the curse 🙄
