I don't know big details but he was the really straight member of the group with a committed girlfriend, while Francesco (new dude) is gay, Oleg and Art are partners. Maybe Stas' girlfriend felt weird about him going to all these Gay Pride events for the job and having to explain that he's not really gay. Who knows? Or maybe Stas just was scouted as a potential mainstream star.
