Yess how come nothing is changing
Okay, I am struggling with this. I am familiar with meditations not christian. They.always.want.you.to.open.yourself.to.some.spirit.being.
Using psalm 24 to open up to Jesus isn't the right use of this scripture. It is so parallel to unchristian meditations that it is scary. God sends the Holy Spirit to indwell, to abide. To.Remain. We don't have to open ourselves up everytime. This may be asking Jesus to come, but the way it is asking is not how Jesus instructed us to come. And anyone being led by the Holy Spirit would have this 'hitch' in their git-up over this. We are saved by grace through faith. That faith isn't in our works of meditation. It is in the work of Jesus on the cross. Think on these things instead, the blood, the reason Jesus had to shed his blood, the substitution, the effect of the cross. This opening up business is flat crap. I'm gonna call it what it is. It is new age spiritism amd not biblical (unless you twist the word to fit a preconcieved notion like you've done here.)
Katie, I love you, but miracles do not bring people to salvation. Only faith in Jesus, the recognition that we cannot do anything to add to his work, and only by the Blood. I don't hear this message in what you are saying except to lend credence to some spiritist work like opening oneself up to spirits. You may be sincere, but preach the cross, Jesus Christ and him crucified for a while and see if your life doesn't shift. In fact, I challenge you to focus entirely on the cross, and the Blood. Let go of the signs for a while and witness what just the gospel can do without the 'special revelations.'
