I Love that place, Probably been 30 year's since the first time I went down there. Some friends and I have repelled through the slot in the top . There's a lot of really cool rock formations in the Big South Fork. Nice work thanks for sharing
wow....you got some you tube celebs with you today on your adventure!.....that is an awesome place.....thanks for sharing....I would love to check that place out!.....that was quite the adventure!
It was definitely an amazing place. The camera certainly did not do it justice. If you ever get up to that area, go check it out. It's not on any of the maps, but its surprisingly easy to find once you know where to look. I definitely had some high profile companions on the hike LOL! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching, man!
Yeah this was an awesome spot, I had done some research on it before heading out there this year and it was at the top of my list of places to see. You should check it out next time, it's way more awesome than the video showed. Camera just didn't do it justice at all. Thanks for watching!
Excellent recon! Good decision not to proceed alone. Glad you found some partners. That was some dead end. As you know, the best areas to explore are often the most difficult to find. This is just a beautiful spot and an amazing cave/slot canyon. Great exploration of this area. It is so difficult to capture the amazing beauty of an area in low light situations but you did a great job. You made me laugh even though it was a serious comment.......idiots! I did not realize how huge the cave was until you pointed out the perspective at the entrance. Amazing. Thank you for taking us spelunking!
My face was still red from the wind burn on our Grayson hike LOL! The "recon" phase of this video was shot just as I arrived to the area, the same day we left Virginia. Visiting this site was one of my top priorities for this year's Tennessee trip so I wanted to know for sure that my research had provided me the correct location, though it would be 3 days later before I would return to check it out. It was an amazing place and the video did not do it justice. Yeah I was very disappointed and angered by the graffiti, that is something I just don't understand at all. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks so much for watching!
Each time I see another exploration of this Devil's Cave it just gets awesome-er and awesome-er...thanks Brother for the tour. I would have pet the Bat...lol.
It is certainly an awesome place. Unfortunately nobody's video can do it justice...it's one of those places you have to experience to fully appreciate it. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, somebody should have totally pet the bat though LOL! Thanks for watching!
"Majestic" is certainly a word that applies to this spot. It's amazing how massive the crevice is. The video did not do it justice. Thank you for watching, my friend! And yeah if you don't know Caveman Outdoors or the State Parkers, check them out...good friends of mine and they also make nice videos.
Thanks, man. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching. Unfortunately I have not been able to spend much time up on the Kentucky side but I've been very impressed with the Tennessee side. A lot of awesome stuff around there.
Yeah I'm not afraid of some wild solo adventuring, but I've always known better than to try to venture into a cave solo. A cave exploration is definitely one where multiple people is better. I love cave exploring. Here in my home state, we have over 4000 known caves, sadly most are on private property and hard to get permission. When it comes to the few that are publicly available, the problem is usually getting some sidekicks to join me LOL! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, thanks so much for watching!
Yes this place is amazing and its not that difficult to get to. It's location or the path to it are not signed so it takes a little digging to find, but well worth the effort. Thanks so much for checking out my video, I really appreciate it.
It certainly was an amazing place. I don't think any of our videos really come close to doing it justice. It's one of those places you have to "experience" and not just "see." I'm glad you enjoyed the visit. I'll be looking forward to your video version as well. Thanks for watching, man!
Cool! Reminded me of the Channels but less dissected and on steroids. Loved this adventure man and I can say I would actually do this "cave"...if I could fit. Lol! The tree roots growing down through the rock were very unique. Thanks for sharing man!
I've noticed that ever since we did the Channels hike, we both seem to always compare big rock formations to the Channels LOL! I've seen a lot of awesome rocks over the years, but the Channels remains one of the most interesting and amazing places I've been to. I want to go back! Anyway, yeah Devil's Cave was massive, this video does not do it justice at all, especially the inside. Glad you enjoyed this little adventure. This is a super awesome spot just a half mile off the road, yet few people know of its existence, that makes it even more interesting. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for checking out my video. I don’t use GPS so I have no idea what the coordinates are. Sorry. I bet its on Tennessee Landforms if you need a cheat sheet.
Really cool! Any reason for the name do you know of? Looks like a ok shelter if you had some extreme weather other than that it looks like it has some of its own hazards. Beautiful feature of big magnitude, thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Paul. It is an amazing spot! I'm not sure about the origin of the name. Although I've never witnessed anything weird myself, according to locals the entire Big South Fork area seems to be a hotbed for all kinds of paranormal activity. And more than a few different people told me that Devil's Cave is supposedly the most haunted place of all. Perhaps that is where the name comes from? Thanks for watching, my friend!
It's an amazing place. I'd love to see it again. We kept exploring on around that rock wall for some distance and finally turned back due to time, but I suspect there is some more interesting stuff further down. Thanks for watching, my friend. I appreciate your support!
Thanks man. This was a really cool place and unfortunately the video didn't do it justice. As for the "prom" graffiti, we all said the same thing. What idiot would do such a thing?
Smell N Roses glad you guys crawl into those cracks and show us, i wouldnt go in there!! // i just hope who ever was being asked said no on principle. Seems like many of us have had about enough of the graffiti in the Parks and it is starting to slow down a little // not enough
The guy really pissed me off there’s another cave closer to the overlook that doesn’t have any trash or graffiti of course it’s not as big as this one but way less known
Yeah 99% of the time I'm solo too...what I was referring to was the cave, you should never, ever enter a cave alone. Your SPOT is useless underground LOL!
This was an awesome site. My camera does not do well in low light but I actually think the main reason for my poor video quality was because of me LOL I think I was not tracking the camera and the flashlight together very well. An infrared light mounted to a high quality camera would be awesome in a spot like this.
Hi there. Thanks so much for watching my video! It would take all the fun out of it to tell you were it is LOL! I dropped a few hints in the video though. Look around on the east rim of the gorge, just slightly upriver from the Leatherwood Ford crossing. If you study the topographic map of the area, its not hard to narrow it down. Check out my "Tennessee Adventures" playlist on my channel for more awesome Big South Fork stuff that may interest you. Thanks again for coming by my channel!
Adam Pohl if you still haven’t found it’s pretty easy to find there’s a trail in the parking lot opposite side of the ports-potties I won’t say anything else it adds to the adventure but using this video you shouldn’t get lost

We had an awesome time. Thanks so much for watching!
Neat place. Great recon work. Gorgeous area too.
It is an awesome place. Thanks for watching!
Now that was one great adventure. Thanks for sharing.

What a FANTASTIC experience! I would LOVE to go creeping along in there. Beautiful country. Thanks for putting this up. Jules
Thank you! I always love checking out a cave, its always an awesome experience. Thanks for watching!

Majestic!! That would be so cool, but I would want lights big enough to light the place up LOLWill check out those other channels

Makes me want to cross the state line and see the lower Big South Fork. Of course this was another awesome SNR adventure .
Thanks, man. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching. Unfortunately I have not been able to spend much time up on the Kentucky side but I've been very impressed with the Tennessee side. A lot of awesome stuff around there.
slot canyon or cave, still a real awesome adventure.
I agree, what ever you want to call it, it was awesome! Thanks for watching, man!
That was some Indiana Jones exploration for sure! Glad you did not try to go solo. Making me jones for some cave action now.

Awesome is right! I never heard of this place and I live in TN. I would love to check this place out. Thanks so much for sharing!!
Yes this place is amazing and its not that difficult to get to. It's location or the path to it are not signed so it takes a little digging to find, but well worth the effort. Thanks so much for checking out my video, I really appreciate it.
Now that is way cool!!!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
That was an amazing place, thanks so much for locating it for us. I've never been to a place like that before and I owe it all to you.
It certainly was an amazing place. I don't think any of our videos really come close to doing it justice. It's one of those places you have to "experience" and not just "see." I'm glad you enjoyed the visit. I'll be looking forward to your video version as well. Thanks for watching, man!
Man what a neat place! Thanks for sharing!
It was awesome, man! I highly recommend it if you get a chance to head back up there one day. Thanks for watching!

Looks like awesome place!
It is a very special place for sure! Thanks for watching!
Have gps coordinates of the cave?
Thanks for checking out my video. I don’t use GPS so I have no idea what the coordinates are. Sorry. I bet its on Tennessee Landforms if you need a cheat sheet.

That was Excellent!! nice catch on the Bat. the second cave with the roots is too scary. PROM? i wonder if that idiot got their date we hope not//
Thanks man. This was a really cool place and unfortunately the video didn't do it justice. As for the "prom" graffiti, we all said the same thing. What idiot would do such a thing?

Very impressive canyon, too bad the lighting sucks for the camera

That sounds too technical for me lol
Zachary Robbins oh it definitely is too technical for me. My solution to poor lighting is a bigger flashlight haha!
How did you find this? I really want to go but can't figure out how to get there! Where do you start?
Hi there. Thanks so much for watching my video! It would take all the fun out of it to tell you were it is LOL! I dropped a few hints in the video though.
