Con la buona musica si inizia una bella giornata. Grazie Alberto
Maestro, you’re the best!
This is absolutely wonderful Alberto!!! Sonata K322 is one of my favorite Scarlatti Sonatas, and it is fantastic to hear and see you play it on your Baroque lute!! The authenticity of your transcription, interpretation and performance is quite dazzling. Your preservation of the jaunty, steady tread of the beat throughout is fantastic to hear, and your tempo and dynamics are perfect. Your articulation and the metallic sound and tone of your Baroque lute give great clarity to your interpretation, while the warm resonance of your lute makes the music sing. You convey the distinctive droll humor of the piece wonderfully well! The Italian connection shines here again, as it does with the Vivaldi!!! It takes an Italian to play an Italian!! I hope you play more Scarlatti Sonatas Alberto, they are wonderful music! I'll send you a list if you like!!!!!! BRAVO!!!!!! and Thank you!!! :)
I love the bass line in this Sonata, and I like watching you play it in the close ups. The sheer regularity of it is fascinating. But then everything about Scarlatti is interesting!! I've been listening to him for years, in particular Scott Ross on the harpsichord and Ivo Pogorelich on the piano. I'm very glad you have chosen Scarlatti for transcription. I thought you might, and you have!
Really enjoying this transcription series. It's nice hearing this on an instrument other than the classical guitar.
