Chinook Down - Salmon River Pulaski NY 10/5/2020

Took a trip out to the river. The water is way too low, it is seriously effecting fish movement. There hasn't been a major push of fish thanks to the drought conditions. Currently the river is several feet low, and the reservoir that feeds the river is over 10ft below normal levels.

It should be a good time the lack of rain until recently that’s kept a lot of fish down towards the estuary. Come November you should still be able to find salmon but there should be a good population of steel head and browns in the river. Thanks for subscribing

10 foot 10wt Riverside 2pcs. You can pick the rods up for about $60 most places. I like them for Salmon fishing mainly because if I have the tip section break, shut it in a car door etc. one of the local shops carries just that segment as replacements for $12-$15
