LOVE the new feature where you zoom in on blaster functions. It doesn't seem like something that would take too much longer to edit in, it makes the blaster mechanics easier to digest, and it's visually pleasing to boot. Glad to see you are sticking to the new format for your chrono readings too, it really condenses the video and makes the data easier and quicker to process. It seems like all your viewers really appreciate you putting in work to raise your production value, I hope it's paying off.
I also love how the sneak disses aren't even sneaky anymore. Gone back to watching Drac's stuff recently just to see if he throws any back at you, but nothing as of yet. Not even getting into modding skills, you still have objectively better content in every aspect (obvious giggity). Consider your ego stroked.

I'd love to see more blasters in the rival series. A "sniper class" blaster might actually work, given the faster dart, or ball, velocity. I also liked the functioning iron sights, but thought it was funny that Hasbro spontaneously decided to make them actual work.

Actually any toy blasters that shot over or claim to shoot over 100 fps have to have a safety switch like airsoft

I actually really like the Zeus. The reload is a little wonky to get used to but other than that I really enjoy using it. I haven't used a Perses, Hera, or Nemesis yet though so I might like those better. I think I would prefer the form factor of the Zeus over the Hera though. I don't like having the long magazine hanging down on the Hera.

I have a blue one and I LOVE IT!! Walmart had it for $45 and the extra mag w/ 18 rounds and clips for attachment to tactical rails for $10. Not bad! Plus the thing shoots like a beast! Domination Nation!
The safety switch reminds me of the Barricade, actually. The rev trigger looked like that and when I was inexperienced I would keep the rev trigger on and use the jam door to rev.

Mrmoocows99 actually smooth spheres are terrible for aerodynamics, these have little dimples like golf balls though which greatly improves the airflow and accuracy.

In your professional opinion, do you think will adopt this ammo format as 1 hit kills just like may do with Mega darts and Titan Rockets? Scaramanga 007 That comes down to the host and the specific game rules, as always. I personally wouldn't make these any more valuable than an Elite dart because their performance is on par or better than the Elite darts. Arrows and Mega darts don't perform as well and are harder to carry around so there is real value to maintain game-balance by making them worth more.
Coop772 Thanks for your reply, It could actually do exactly what you are saying, I'm pretty sure you are right. However, I got a game on the 29th which gives Rival players a 1 hit KO stipulation to test the theory. It will be interesting to see how it goes and I will get back to you on it.
Scaramanga 007 How many hits does it normally take to KO someone? Like with an Elite dart?
Coop772 The nice thing is that we can always adjust the hit point stipulations for the elite dart players to even it out a little. In the games I usually play it's 3. However if the rival players KO people too easily in the first round, I want to bring it down to 2, maybe 3-15 (or 3 Hit-points with a 15 second stun for those viewers who have never heard the term before) and try that. I'm putting on this game to try to see for myself what the weapon balance in real life would be like.

I think some good mods for this blaster would be to block one side of the "magwell" and then making it a single magazine release switch, so you can somewhat easily reload. Maybe mod the magazines and have a little strip of tape or something relatively ghetto yet tacticool and use it as a pull tab, like in battery trays with hidden battery slots.

I just got the Nerf Rival Zeus in blue yesterday and I love it. The only thing I don't like about it is of how loud it is and how many times I keep losing the rival rounds from them rolling under stuff all the time

Coop if you drill a small hole into the ammo and insert a bb you should get a little more range as well as it being harder to blow away, metal bb will work a little better
One thing I haven't seen anyone mention is the battery life of the gun. I want to buy this gun but C batteries can be pretty expensive especially when you need SIX of them.

You stated exactly what i thought about the magazine before you even said it...why the heck didn't the magazine just slam in from the back just like the batteries with a quick release button to eject and let it drop out the back? They would have fixed a major usability issue of the gun and had a way simpler loading mechanism with no room for errors or drops.
Great video as always. Used the Apollo this weekend for the first time...too dangerous for my 3 year old LOL...he loved it :)
