In 1974, Zindros Dimitrios established in Meteora (the most important monastic center of Greece, after Mount Athos) a small workshop with the aim of making exact copies of Byzantine icons. Since then, the workshop has experienced continuous development, reaching to hold, as we learn from the company's website, the most recognized position on the market of Byzantine icons and ecclesiastical objects worldwide.
Going up the ring road towards the holy rocks of Meteora, at their base, at the exit from the tourist town of Kalambaka, is the permanent exhibition of icons and church objects. It is not a simple store - exhibition, but an act of culture, tourists, more or less familiar with iconographic art, attending lectures on the history and meaning of some very important icons, their indications of "use" and their technique of achievement. In this way, visitors can better orient themselves in choosing suitable icons for their own home or to offer as gifts. Tourist groups also benefit from a tombola.
In the present video, occasioned by the visit of a large group of Romanians, we witness the first part of the program, before visiting the exhibition-store and shopping, the presentation of the meaning of six important icons, of which the first two are unique to Meteora. For the undecided, finally, there is the option of purchasing an "iconostas" with all these icons.
The emotional presentation of the icons is made to the group of Romanians, with great sensitivity, by a lady Romanian guide, as far as I understand, an employee of this "Zindros House of Byzantine Icons". The icons she presented, of which the first two are unique to Meteora, are the following:
    1. "The Mother of God with the Child" (in a unique representation, from the "Great Meteoron" Monastery)
    2. Mother of God "Messenger of God" (from ”Varlaam” Monastery)
    3. Mother of God "Queen of the Night" (or "Queen of Dreams")
    4. Saint Christophoros
    5. "Our Lady with Seven Arrows"
    6. "Our Lady of Jerusalem"
    7. Iconostasis with all the icons
