What must be said about Newman is that he was made a Cardinal by Pope Leo XIII in 1879 and Pope Pius XII, in 1945, called him "the pride of Britain and of the universal Church" in a letter to the archbishop of Westminster, Bernard William Griffin. So the popes obviously had a higher opinion of Newman.
The Edwardian Reformation was a part of the English Reformation that took place during King Edward VI's reign from 1547 to 1553. It marks the first time the Church of England became wholly Protestant, abandoning most of the Catholic undertones of Henry VIII's Church. During his reign, the Act of Uniformity, approved by Parliament in 1549, took the reformation forward by establishing a Book of Common Prayer. This contained the wording of prayers and the order of service to be used throughout the kingdom in place of the old Catholic practices. In belief & practice, the Act of Uniformity denied the Catholic belief of the Real Presence & the Mass as sacrificial act of atonement. Consequently, there was a defect of intention in administering the reformed rites of episcopal consecration & priestly ordination. In 1898, Pope Leo XIII published His Papal Encyclical APOSTOLICAE CURAE, in which He declared that the Edwardian rites were utterly null & void. Quaeritur: If we apply the same reasoning of the sacramental principles employed by Leo XII in APOSTOLICAE CURAE, do we arrive at the same conclusion regarding the Reformed Rites of Paul VI?
Barron told me I was out of the Church because I rejected Harlot Council of Montini. He's actually right, but he doesn't know there's 2 churches. Btw, he wouldn't write me out an excommunication😎
Bishop Barron also suggested that Elijah might have been 'fired' by God. An incredible blasphemer. It was reported that he had a 20x20 picture of his 100G a year assistant on his wall flexing his muscles. Then Bergoglio sacked him and transferred him to Rochester MN, a one horse town lol There's no loyalty among blasphemers lol

In his book "Letter to a Suffering Church," on page 66, Barron says that Jesus Christ was accused of blasphemy by the Jews and of sedition by the Romans. My understanding is the second assertion is false, because Pilate said that he found no fault in him and tried to release him. He's selling his version of the Word of Fire Gospels for $99 each, but he's teaching errors like this. Perhaps Barron was not aware of this, but "devout Jew and deeply conservative American who promotes Judeo-Christian values" twice mocked the sufferings of Jesus Christ on social media for laughs on his social media accounts. Or perhaps Barron thinks its a free speech issue and that Shapiro is entitled to his own opinion. Worst of all, many self-proclaimed Catholics responded that they thought the jokes were absolutely hilarious.

The true purpose for this interview (or at least this part of it, minimally) between Shapiro and the Red Barron is one of misdirection …none of this was supposed to be truly sincerely seeking answers to the question of Salvation, particularly as it pertains to what Holy Mother Church teaches in it.
