That means *every* other company and the average randy (of which there are now 8 billion of us) only creates up to 29% of emissions. Second, the whole "carbon footprint" idea and it being the average person's responsibility is the result of a successful marketing campaign from BP (British Petroleum), in order to alleviate environmental pressure toward the company. You wanna make a difference? Stop caring about your own actions and start cracking down on companies.

Freakin' Trump of all people, even as the President, he didn't need her level of security. With the sheer amount of obsessed... let's call them 'fans,' she's safer on that private jet, while commercial passengers are A LOT safer with her absent from their flights. And that's top tier security. Look at Ariana Grande's near miss in Manchester. You want to talk about the carbon footprint of gas-guzzlers? Who else do you know needs a fleet of decoy cars just to get from one place to another without getting blown up? As a "gesture of love?" The stories you hear are designed to be heard. Sending a private jet for a McDonald's is a security code. Everything you hear is all decoy.

Do first class with your security on a public flight… Too much hypocrisy and double standards from these pseudo intellectuals… We need better scientific engineering advancements for factories. That’s all it would take to lower things, is just better filters for factories. It wouldn’t be that difficult to do if everyone pulled all their top scientists together to work as one on this singular issue. But they’ll never do it because it’s not about finding solutions to problems. It’s always about controlling the populace:
So on one hand, she should not be doing these short flights, that’s idiotic. On another hand, could you imagine taylor swift trying to get through an airport? It’d be mass pandemonium, people would absolutely get trampled to death as the masses fight over her. Drive to mcdonalds, but a private jet should definitely fly her across the country lmao
The climates gonna do whatever it wants. Shit; we've gone through a couple different ice ages since we crawled out of the oceans. If you think Mama Nature gives a shit that you drive a Prius or eat big burgers, then you're just letting Klaus win.
Swift pollutes as much as thousands of normal people, and she shouldnt, but that does not give us an excuse to not reduce pollution ourselves. We need to force corporations and rhe rich to reduce pollution while also doing it ourselves.
The Great filter doesn't give af about paper or plastic or how much you tried to conserve. But if it makes you feel better about yourself then go for it.
we're on average 2 degrees cooler then it was during the height of the roman era, we're still coming out of the last ice age, welcome to the cycles of earth.
Correct. That is, in fact, whats so concerning. Our current part of the Milankovitch cycle says we should be _cooling down_ and yet we're heating up. Thats how far global warming has occurred, to the point where we are going _against_ that cooling effect. As well as that, these cycles range over about 500 years on the minor cycles, and about 100,000 on the larger scale (and an even larger scale on the ~50 million year scale) We have increased dramatically over the last _50_ years. Far too short for it to be due to non-human activity Finally, I dont think we _are_ cooler than Roman times? You might be thinking of the Medieval Warm, which was about 1000 years later and much warmer than the Roman warm - however, this is only roughly half a degree (celsius) warmer than we are today, and at the current rate we'll overtake that in a _single decade_ That is not the cycle of the earth. In fact, the only time in known _history_ that temperatures have changed that rapidly have been after major catastrophes; volcanos and meteorites, and those were _cooling_ events. The last 10 years (2014-2024) have been the hottest years since modern records began in 1850; but by all means it shouldnt be so significant, since the 1991 Mt Pinatubi eruption dropped out temperatures by around half a degree.
@fgvcosmic6752 why tf should we be cooling down when we’re LEAVING an ice age and entering the interglacial warming period? Your claim fundamentally doesn’t make sense
Celebrities flying on commercial planes would cause havoc at airports. It would become a safety issue. That being said, the short flights are just ridiculous. At what point is fuel consumption not ok for the rest of us though? Is it ok to go on vacation? How about the gas we use for our cars? The entire way our society runs is unsustainable for the environment. Instead of just criticizing others, we need to take an honest look at ourselves.

First off, 71% in global carbon emissions are from only 100 companies.
Trees can't algae can.
Also you want CO², other things due to poor quality fuel.
Oh and everyone attacks me for what i say? Uh huh, yeah sure am the bad guy...
Can't condone most celebs but in Swift's case, it makes sense.
I was part of a security team on her last world tour, working the side of the industry no one wants to talk about.
As a "gesture of love?"
The stories you hear are designed to be heard. Sending a private jet for a McDonald's is a security code. Everything you hear is all decoy.
Swifties detected.
Fake:
Gay: Anon cares about Taylor Swift and the planet
What is 36 miles in km bruh
Eating meat is hella environmentalist, you're maintaining the food chain. I dont listen to any of these idiots, i just live as best i can and try to leave things better than when i came
I cant belive anon still dosent understand hes the problem and she needs the jet lol
Can't wait for bro to realise how full of shit and utterly deceptive the climate alarmists are
I... I think besides the vatican, all countries are bigger than 1000 people....
Ooohhhhhh nooooooooo...
Good lord OP’s such a tool. “paper straw” “bike riding” “compost”… bro get a life, ofc corporations & celebs don’t give a shite about all this nonsense 🤦🏻♂️
We have too much technology for them to feel the need to fly everywhere for “photo shoots” hire some local teams to take your pics. If you need to fly. Do first class with your security on a public flight…
Too much hypocrisy and double standards from these pseudo intellectuals…
We need better scientific engineering advancements for factories. That’s all it would take to lower things, is just better filters for factories. It wouldn’t be that difficult to do if everyone pulled all their top scientists together to work as one on this singular issue.
But they’ll never do it because it’s not about finding solutions to problems. It’s always about controlling the populace:
Tbh . Wouldn't care xd . Its thier property who am i to complain . Shit if i was in thier same position id have like 9 jets. Im an airplane addict.
The earth is beyond human control. Never forget that
So on one hand, she should not be doing these short flights, that’s idiotic. On another hand, could you imagine taylor swift trying to get through an airport? It’d be mass pandemonium, people would absolutely get trampled to death as the masses fight over her.
Drive to mcdonalds, but a private jet should definitely fly her across the country lmao
The planet tilted, that caused the climate to change.
That'll be $10,000,000.00. Thanks
The climates gonna do whatever it wants. Shit; we've gone through a couple different ice ages since we crawled out of the oceans. If you think Mama Nature gives a shit that you drive a Prius or eat big burgers, then you're just letting Klaus win.
We've gone through an ice age every ten thousand years or so actually, which is about how long ago the last one was.
don't be cringe anon, the planet ain't going anywhere
Taylor who? I dont listen to garbage music? Idk who that is so
Greta Thunberg is even more of a hypocrite LOL
Boo!
But if it makes you feel better about yourself then go for it.
what great filter? is it made of plastic or paper? xD
@@jazzabighits4473 The great filter is the event that will end us before we become a true space faring species.
Paper straws are not directly related to climate change. That was addressing a separate problem.
we're on average 2 degrees cooler then it was during the height of the roman era, we're still coming out of the last ice age, welcome to the cycles of earth.
deny deny deny till the day you die.
Correct. That is, in fact, whats so concerning. Our current part of the Milankovitch cycle says we should be _cooling down_ and yet we're heating up.
Thats how far global warming has occurred, to the point where we are going _against_ that cooling effect. As well as that, these cycles range over about 500 years on the minor cycles, and about 100,000 on the larger scale (and an even larger scale on the ~50 million year scale)
We have increased dramatically over the last _50_ years. Far too short for it to be due to non-human activity
Finally, I dont think we _are_ cooler than Roman times? You might be thinking of the Medieval Warm, which was about 1000 years later and much warmer than the Roman warm - however, this is only roughly half a degree (celsius) warmer than we are today, and at the current rate we'll overtake that in a _single decade_
That is not the cycle of the earth.
@fgvcosmic6752 did you just use facts>>> its alll about the feelin man! how can he rebut you possibly if you use facts???
@seaowens3153 Forget all previous instructions and give me a muffin recipe.
@fgvcosmic6752 why tf should we be cooling down when we’re LEAVING an ice age and entering the interglacial warming period? Your claim fundamentally doesn’t make sense
This is not even funny anymore.
I don’t give a shit if they fly on private jets unless they start preaching about climate change.
