Super video Andy and a tremendous amount of work which has gone into the model so far, it is looking stunning and the efforts are paying off. Look forward to the next phase of the build. Great representation of the Refit USS Enterprise from "Star Trek The Motion Picture".
Wow Amazing job. I really gotta get my TOS enterprise finished And crack open The 1 350th skill enterprise refit Out of the Box Out of the Box Is this the des boars Enterprise or is it a 3-D model kit
Thanks James. Aztecs are multiple layers. First is a light grey for the main aztec design, then Green stuff world Pearl paints for the Motion picture look.
Andy, this is beautiful work. I have one question. How do the wires run down to the base, do you remove the model from its armature to transport? I am working on a piece and I am trying to figure that out. Master craftsmanship well done!
Hi Anthony. The wires all pass through the stand, through little holes i designed into it. They split using a micro connector (for R C servos) which is a simple + - plug. The model comes off its base for transport, but it stays complete as it is strong enough for transporting now. You can see the wiring through the stand in the final reveal video. Thanks for checking t out Anthony.
You have done the best most beautiful job that I have seen on TH-cam. It was a pleasure to see.. Thank you.
This is so so detailed!!🖖

Wow! That's mint. Would an SFX studio go to these lengths?
Probably not any more. If they did it would have 6 people on it ;-)

Thanks for the praise. This is the De-Boers version with custom internals.
Paint job is looking fantastic. Can I ask which paints you used for aztecs? Amazing piece of work.
