already did just one mistake i did which i wont do again is i purchased builder portion through gems (285 gems) which has not so good value its saves you around 90 gems only if compared to randomly using gems to finish the upgrade with current time and no matter how bad a goblin builder looks it has a fucking insane value for example compared to 285 gems spending on builder potion you will spend 5.7 gems per hour of work done with a maximum total work of 50 hours and if you spend only like 240 gems on goblin builder you will spend 1.66 gems per hours of work done with a total work for 144 hours and that is simply insane, the difference is simple too high, in short if you are planning to spend gem spend on goblin builder and not on other magic items which can be purchased through gems
It does al little bit, because right now everything is half time and resources ofc. When you use the book now you dont get the maximum out of your books sinds it is half time. If that make sense

Leave one builder for small upgrades and walls, use a goblin builder for buildings and research, do not use other magical items like books and runes, leave them at exit 17th, buy a gold pass because now it is the most profitable of all time. This is the best you can do

In case you didn't know, he hammer jam builder boost stacks with the "return builder boost" for those who haven't been playing for a long time I just retuned to the game as a maxed th12 and will almost be a maxed th13 at the end of the hammer jam. Completely insane if you ask me, and a great time to come back to the game!
Finally, someone mentioned the wall rings! I also haven't seen anyone mention resource potion. Not like it's going to be hard to get resources, but the resource pots also benefit from the x3, unlike the overall builder boost. Right now, if you use a resource pot you will get 6x the normal amount from your collectors, it's nuts for passive loot.
Please use your goblin builder and researcher. Buy as much builder and research potion as you can using your cwl medals. Put all 4 of your heroes at the time even if the pet house is idle (because you only need 4 pets at a time but all 4 heroes together). Using goblin builder and 6 research potion you can finish 2 troops which are 12 days normally with just 120 medals and 240 gems and that's huge. Same with builders using 450 cwl medals worth of builder potion (15 potions) you can finish 7 building which are 12 days normally, just need to spend 240 more gems.
One of the most insane tip I can give for people that are using the gobelin builder. Wait for an upgrade to almost be finished with 6 builders active. Start a gobelin builder upgrade. Now you have the builder that just finished it's upgrade. And that will be your free builder for walls. This let you have 6 active builders and still do walls. Witjout paying gem every wall for the gobelin.

I’m th16 maxed and can clearly say that its absolute worth it to use books and hammers during this time period. Especially books bring you an advantage by using the cost reduction more often. Hammers doesn’t really matter if you use them now or later. Same outcome, different situation
I recommend spending all ur cwl medals on builder potions instead of hammers. Also spending raid medals on lab and resource potion is the best option. Resource collector potions are 100% worth it during hammer jam you’ll be making around 1,008,000 million if you use the resource potion per collector every day. That’s 7,056,000 gold and elixer every day. With max none supercharged collectors. Also gobil builder is also worth it since everything is a lot less time he’s pretty cheap
Using books is actualy better now. Half time or not, it is the same value but now you get to use the builder with 50% resource discount so books are more valuable than after the event.
Good video, but there are two mistakes. First of all as someone else already pointed out, hammers / books are not a waste. It means the builder also instantly becomes available again to work double as fast as normal, so you're not wasting any days. Secondly to gain the most amount of LOOT (not ores), at least for TH 13+ you want to be at the lower end of the average trophies from your town hall level. If I go to the mid / high level trophy range of my TH (15), players would be really active there so there are no pumps to snipe. I just dropped to master 1 and can fill my storages in like 10 minutes because I can just snipe the pumps / mines with sneakies, a lot of bases are afk. That wouldn't work in the mid-high range.
Gotcha okay I see your point about the looting. In regards to hammers/books I would hold them regardless because you could be using them when hammer jam is gone AND if we get time reductions on the next update, you actually might be wasting days on them
I will tell you right now as a spender. Builder potions are the move. If I have 6 buildings all taking 6 days, that’s 6 books for 5,550 gems (925 per). Or I can spend 14 builder potions for 3,990 gems (285 per) to have them all have 4 hours left. So I can either spend 6 books to have them all finish instantly or spend 14 builder potions for all 6 buildings to finish in 18 hours (14hrs from potions and 4hrs left over). At the end of the day, you do you. But I’d rather keep my books for 10+ day buildings once the event ends. On another note, league shop sells builder potions for 30 league coins per for those who didn’t know
One thing to note is that it is beneficial to use books during hammer jam. It means you will get more upgrades done during it, and therefore have more upgrades undergo resource cost reductions. Also you don't waste time if you use them during hammer jam because if using it means you will then get another building upgraded during hammer jam then it is equally worth than if you used it outside of hammer jam.
let's settle this down: using books during the event is NOT a waist. You just save the 50% resources. The fact that you use a book for 10 or 5 days doesn't mean a thing, it's just a number, you will always get the same upgrade done istantly. Only thing is: you want to prioritize builder potions, so don't buy books or hammers and buy potions. But i can't get why people are so focused on the numer 'uff i've saved 12 days let's go', and don't realize that they are just getting one building done. That's the key.
I love your content, you put so much effort into each video. Nonetheless, the bouncing head camera and the moving tables are just unnecessarily distracting. Also, I've noticed a lot of editing mistakes over the past few videos (eq boots vs eq spell, rage vial vs rage gem, building upgrade rather than lab upgrade shown at 4:48) that really erode your message. I believe in your potential to make it big and I hope this helps :)
I have been playing since the beginning, 2013. I can say, without a doubt, that you should use this event to upgrade your walls. You won't get another opportunity like this, and if you don't do it now you may NEVER get the walls maxed out. My humble opinion...
got lucky with 2 attack jellies from the free chests in the coc videos, that mixed with storage ruins, managed to max my th10 walls within an hour of upgrading to it, complete with max storages afterwards. was very happy
I’m the biggest winner of this event tbh, i bought 90 builder potions with my cwl medals, used them and here are my accomplishments: Th 15: 100 walls to lvl 16 + 7 cannons to lvl 21 Then I went up to th16 since i maxed th15 and.. Th16: upgraded my CC , MONOLITH , 3 inferno towers , 2 scatter shots , 5 builder huts , 4 xbows , unlocked the merged cannons and archer towers , wizzard towers , laboratory, pet house (2 levels). (All to maximum lvl of course) And now I’m almost a th16 maxed player
If we assume a hammer of building skips 13d for 120 cwl medals: Builder potion normally skips 54h for 30 cwl medals, so multiply by 4 because it’s 4x cheaper means 216h or 9d of time skip. But now during hammer it’s double, so 18d skip meaning if you ignore resources (which you should because farming is ez rn) builder potions are much better medal value right now so buy as many as possible. It’s 5d better value not to mention the goblin builder

Using books is not a waste in this event! if its a 16 days upgrade, its the same thing whether you upgrade it now when its 8 days or later when it will be back to 16 days. Actually this event is the best time to use your books because of excess of loot unless you are saving them for th17
The best item right now is the builder potion. Keep the builders working and boosted. Attack steadily so that you alwayssss have gold and elixir to start upgrades.
there's so much friggin' dark elixir in the game right now. I can't even spend it fast enough, using it for super troops, got lab and pet shop going and my heroes are maxed.

I just came back to the game after a long time and it seems they gave us 50% time reduction on building and lab for returning players now so I now have 75% time reduction without gold pass 😅, I just upgraded to th 14 but it seems I am gonna max it before this Event ends
I don't get the point in prioritizing long upgrades. We have 50% reduction for the amount of days and we will save basically that amount of days in upgrades total per builder. That goes every time tho, as long as you keep them working. Also - Walls go insanely fast with the loot collectors boost Keep in mind that the longest upgrades should be prioritized towards the end to get the most out of reduction time after the event is over
Should you get the builders potion or still the hammer? Here are my calculations: With 6 builders a single building potion will save you about 4.5 days. (9 hours per builder) 120 medals on builders potion = 18 days saved. 120 medals on hammer = 16 days saved max. I think the longest upgrade time on a single building is 16 days, so the building potion is better than the hammer during this event.

Just got to TH13 last week and fully maxed my walls in less than a day. I am definitely not going to TH14 lol! If I manage to max my heroes, which is my goal for this event, then I will go straight to 14.
Call me crazy but with the missing resource collectors in the recent clash video along with the 50% reduction on both costs and time because the devs want people to progress faster I suspect they may become permanent. They said upgrade times are one of the biggest problems in the game and they don't want them to get higher so when th17 gets added at the end of the month all lowers townhalls have to get time reductions anyway. They said th17 will change the game for everyone so I really believe that time, resources and upgrade costs would do that for everyone.
id say its not a waste for books because u still benefit from the ressource reduction edit: and u would be able to get more upgrades done with said reduction but hammers should probably be saved

If you have books and/or hammers, use them. If you DON’T have books and/or hammers and can buy them in the CWL shop, do NOT buy them; buy builder potions instead. If you need research potions, buy them via Raid Medals, unless you ABSOLUTELY need them now.
I think you have miss calculator Magic Books For example if there is a upgrade which is taking 12 days to upgrade usually then yes you can do that upgrade in 6 days but if you use a book there then you can use that builder somewhere else and that somewhere will also be 50% time reduction + you are doing the upgrade 50% chep So Hammers don't have any effect on time or cost But Books help to to things in 50% discount
I definitely disagree about the walls, bc if you are a th11 and above you have sneaky goblins, which just means you can fill your storages in just minutes! So you just leave one builder open for it and then dump all that loot into the walls and then train up your sneaky goblins and find bases with tons of loot(in my opinion getting bases with 1mil loot or higher is the best) and then use the goblins on the collectors/mines and then you get a lot of loot, so you can fill your storages very quickley. I had mostly lvl 10 walls (im a th 11) and in like 20-40 minutes I had them maxed
7:20 Yea about that… i maxed all (!) walls of th14 and had 10 days left to max. Then i upgraded to th 15 and maxed all walls aswell. Took me a total of 4 1/2 days. I dont think i should go to th 16.
I reached town hall 13. 1 week ago but I will upgrade to th14 as soon as possible without maxing defences because i want pet house upgrades should be covered in hammer jam event

So I wanted recommendation about to upgrade which pet, which pet not. And I also have no idea about them. Like I have idea about equipments just because of your videos and for that when I upgraded to th13, I didn't upgrade a single level on the default equipments of RC to not waste then since I am not gonna use then in upper th. 2:25 that is straight bs. It doesn't matter if you do 1 upgrade that takes 8 days or 8 upgrades that take 1 day. In both cases you save 8 days in time. It is completely irrelevant if the upgrade you do is long or short aslong as you start another upgrade right after. What matters tho is the loot that you can save. For example: if you can do a upgrade that takes 6 days and costs 4 million gold or you can do an upgrade that takes 1 day and 2 million gold you should definitly do the shorter update because you save much more loot per time and the time you save is the same as I already explained.
I got to like 120 walls done for th16,just when hammer jam started i was th15 with 180+ walls left for th15 itself,now for th16 just 200 left in th16 lool
tip- u should drop down leagues to find dead bases during the event because of the collector boosts. so u will get ridiculous loot. i as an th 14 in masters 2 get around 2 mil of gold and elixir and 20 k dark almost every time. best of luck for the next 2 weeks

I found a way to have even more than 60% off! I took 35days off of coc and when you come back you get rewards. One of them being 50% off builds. Then we have hammer jam! Plus 20% builder but in season pass. So my Th15 to Th16 infernos take 2d and a couple hours!!! I’m going crazy on the upgrades!

Probably not a good idea because when you get to town hall 15 after the event it will be incredibly difficult to upgrade your heroes and stay afloat in a decent league
also do not use the research potion unless you are using the researcher goblin because you can boost both of them which gives takes of 2 days instead of one
If you play a lot you can do a lot on walls. I went from maxed th11 to almost having maxed th13 walls, about to upgrade to th14 and plan to make those walls during the event as well. Using super goblin attacks and queen with arrow you can get a lot of loot easy. Just drop the queen on the corner and use her ability when it will hit a lot of mines or storages. I got 1.5m loot in 5 seconds EZ

Good video, but there are two mistakes.
First of all as someone else already pointed out, hammers / books are not a waste. It means the builder also instantly becomes available again to work double as fast as normal, so you're not wasting any days. Secondly to gain the most amount of LOOT (not ores), at least for TH 13+ you want to be at the lower end of the average trophies from your town hall level. If I go to the mid / high level trophy range of my TH (15), players would be really active there so there are no pumps to snipe. I just dropped to master 1 and can fill my storages in like 10 minutes because I can just snipe the pumps / mines with sneakies, a lot of bases are afk. That wouldn't work in the mid-high range.
Gotcha okay I see your point about the looting. In regards to hammers/books I would hold them regardless because you could be using them when hammer jam is gone AND if we get time reductions on the next update, you actually might be wasting days on them
Yeah when there comes a time reduction tha't's a different story, in that case it might be better to save.

I upgraded 140 walls from level 12 to level 14 in 2 days. That would have taken me atleast 2-3 months without hammer jam
I will tell you right now as a spender. Builder potions are the move. If I have 6 buildings all taking 6 days, that’s 6 books for 5,550 gems (925 per). Or I can spend 14 builder potions for 3,990 gems (285 per) to have them all have 4 hours left. So I can either spend 6 books to have them all finish instantly or spend 14 builder potions for all 6 buildings to finish in 18 hours (14hrs from potions and 4hrs left over). At the end of the day, you do you. But I’d rather keep my books for 10+ day buildings once the event ends. On another note, league shop sells builder potions for 30 league coins per for those who didn’t know
One thing to note is that it is beneficial to use books during hammer jam.
It means you will get more upgrades done during it, and therefore have more upgrades undergo resource cost reductions.
Also you don't waste time if you use them during hammer jam because if using it means you will then get another building upgraded during hammer jam then it is equally worth than if you used it outside of hammer jam.

let's settle this down: using books during the event is NOT a waist. You just save the 50% resources. The fact that you use a book for 10 or 5 days doesn't mean a thing, it's just a number, you will always get the same upgrade done istantly. Only thing is: you want to prioritize builder potions, so don't buy books or hammers and buy potions. But i can't get why people are so focused on the numer 'uff i've saved 12 days let's go', and don't realize that they are just getting one building done. That's the key.
I love your content, you put so much effort into each video. Nonetheless, the bouncing head camera and the moving tables are just unnecessarily distracting. Also, I've noticed a lot of editing mistakes over the past few videos (eq boots vs eq spell, rage vial vs rage gem, building upgrade rather than lab upgrade shown at 4:48) that really erode your message. I believe in your potential to make it big and I hope this helps :)

I’m the biggest winner of this event tbh, i bought 90 builder potions with my cwl medals, used them and here are my accomplishments:
Th 15: 100 walls to lvl 16 + 7 cannons to lvl 21
Then I went up to th16 since i maxed th15 and..
Th16: upgraded my CC , MONOLITH , 3 inferno towers , 2 scatter shots , 5 builder huts , 4 xbows , unlocked the merged cannons and archer towers , wizzard towers , laboratory, pet house (2 levels). (All to maximum lvl of course)
And now I’m almost a th16 maxed player
And i forgot to mention 100 walls to lvl 17 😅
If we assume a hammer of building skips 13d for 120 cwl medals:
Builder potion normally skips 54h for 30 cwl medals, so multiply by 4 because it’s 4x cheaper means 216h or 9d of time skip.
But now during hammer it’s double, so 18d skip meaning if you ignore resources (which you should because farming is ez rn) builder potions are much better medal value right now so buy as many as possible. It’s 5d better value not to mention the goblin builder
TIPS 💡
Keep one builder available for wall upgrades, then focus on filling up your elixir and gold storage. While waiting, use that builder to upgrade traps, as these upgrades typically take only about an hour, matching the time it takes to gather loot. To maximize elixir and gold, look for a base where you can easily earn one star. Deploy a log launcher aimed at the elixir, gold, or dark elixir storage, along with all your heroes, cast your spells, and end the battle right away to prevent hero cooldown.
i have maxed >50% of walls in literally 2-3 days at TH15 (level 16 walls).

I think I'm the insanest out there, I went from mix of 11 and 12 th level walls to full 14 level walls in 4 days, and planning to full for 15 th level(th 14 and was super rushed), thanks to this event I'm leaving rushed team from now on
Before hammer Jam it costs me 32 days to upgrade 2 troops. Now with hammer jam + goblin builder + 5 research potions. I can do it in 3 days
Using books is not a waste in this event! if its a 16 days upgrade, its the same thing whether you upgrade it now when its 8 days or later when it will be back to 16 days. Actually this event is the best time to use your books because of excess of loot unless you are saving them for th17

The best item right now is the builder potion. Keep the builders working and boosted. Attack steadily so that you alwayssss have gold and elixir to start upgrades.
there's so much friggin' dark elixir in the game right now. I can't even spend it fast enough, using it for super troops, got lab and pet shop going and my heroes are maxed.

@@evvrsince master 1 to champ 3 and use sneaky goblins + super wallbreaker, haste + jump spell, if you have heroes use them to get th, just try to not lose any health on the heroes with eternal tome so you have them in every attack. sometimes just placing some goblins for the loot and then quitting is better, if the th is too far inside to get it. you can do like 8 attacks per hour or even more. also use training potions if you have

Explanation:
Hammer of building: 14 days of upgrade time skipped for 120 medals
Builder potion: 9hours skipped on each builder, you have 5-6builders, you get double value from this event, it costs you 30medals
1hammer=4builder potion
1builder potion=9(hours)*5(builders)*2(time reduction)*4(price of a hammer)/24(convert to days)=15days
With 6builders: 9*6*2*4/24=18days
So if you have 5 builders and have an upgrade that is longer than 14days(7days now with the reductions) than you should buy the hammer, otherwise you should just buy potions.
Extra:
Builder potion with gold pass+5builders= 9*5*2,5(combined time reduction)4/24=18,75 days
Builder potion with gold pass+6 builders= 9*6*2,5*4/24=22,5days
So if you have enough resources than its better value to buy potions especially for shorter upgrades.
(It doesnt matter when you use the hammers, you will get the same value now or after the event)

I don't get the point in prioritizing long upgrades. We have 50% reduction for the amount of days and we will save basically that amount of days in upgrades total per builder. That goes every time tho, as long as you keep them working. Also - Walls go insanely fast with the loot collectors boost
Keep in mind that the longest upgrades should be prioritized towards the end to get the most out of reduction time after the event is over

Should you get the builders potion or still the hammer?
Here are my calculations:
With 6 builders a single building potion will save you about 4.5 days. (9 hours per builder)
120 medals on builders potion = 18 days saved.
120 medals on hammer = 16 days saved max.
I think the longest upgrade time on a single building is 16 days, so the building potion is better than the hammer during this event.
Not to mention hero hammers are even more expensive

I was barely th14 and now Im already about to max out every defense and about 9 troops and 5 potions left to upgrade.

Just got to TH13 last week and fully maxed my walls in less than a day. I am definitely not going to TH14 lol! If I manage to max my heroes, which is my goal for this event, then I will go straight to 14.

Call me crazy but with the missing resource collectors in the recent clash video along with the 50% reduction on both costs and time because the devs want people to progress faster I suspect they may become permanent. They said upgrade times are one of the biggest problems in the game and they don't want them to get higher so when th17 gets added at the end of the month all lowers townhalls have to get time reductions anyway. They said th17 will change the game for everyone so I really believe that time, resources and upgrade costs would do that for everyone.
maybe the new th will transcend time and be in a different way to upgrade things

The best you could do is run all 6+1 builders and 1+1 lab, using all your saved cwl points, and p2wing rn if you got plans at all

If you DON’T have books and/or hammers and can buy them in the CWL shop, do NOT buy them; buy builder potions instead. If you need research potions, buy them via Raid Medals, unless you ABSOLUTELY need them now.

For example if there is a upgrade which is taking 12 days to upgrade usually then yes you can do that upgrade in 6 days but if you use a book there then you can use that builder somewhere else and that somewhere will also be 50% time reduction + you are doing the upgrade 50% chep
So Hammers don't have any effect on time or cost
But Books help to to things in 50% discount
I definitely disagree about the walls, bc if you are a th11 and above you have sneaky goblins, which just means you can fill your storages in just minutes! So you just leave one builder open for it and then dump all that loot into the walls and then train up your sneaky goblins and find bases with tons of loot(in my opinion getting bases with 1mil loot or higher is the best) and then use the goblins on the collectors/mines and then you get a lot of loot, so you can fill your storages very quickley. I had mostly lvl 10 walls (im a th 11) and in like 20-40 minutes I had them maxed

Hi bd, it's been very grateful watching your videos. I wanted you to make a video about the pets. Since I am a th 13, I am soon gonna be th14. So I wanted recommendation about to upgrade which pet, which pet not. And I also have no idea about them. Like I have idea about equipments just because of your videos and for that when I upgraded to th13, I didn't upgrade a single level on the default equipments of RC to not waste then since I am not gonna use then in upper th. So like this, it would be really helpful if you made a video of complete pets.

2:25 that is straight bs. It doesn't matter if you do 1 upgrade that takes 8 days or 8 upgrades that take 1 day. In both cases you save 8 days in time. It is completely irrelevant if the upgrade you do is long or short aslong as you start another upgrade right after.
What matters tho is the loot that you can save. For example: if you can do a upgrade that takes 6 days and costs 4 million gold or you can do an upgrade that takes 1 day and 2 million gold you should definitly do the shorter update because you save much more loot per time and the time you save is the same as I already explained.
What would happen to the ongoing upgrades after hammer jam ends ? Does there "ends in" remain the same?
I got to like 120 walls done for th16,just when hammer jam started i was th15 with 180+ walls left for th15 itself,now for th16 just 200 left in th16 lool
tip- u should drop down leagues to find dead bases during the event because of the collector boosts. so u will get ridiculous loot. i as an th 14 in masters 2 get around 2 mil of gold and elixir and 20 k dark almost every time. best of luck for the next 2 weeks

hiring the goblin is more important because you can farm the loot for the walls, only takes a little longer.
I found a way to have even more than 60% off! I took 35days off of coc and when you come back you get rewards. One of them being 50% off builds. Then we have hammer jam! Plus 20% builder but in season pass.
So my Th15 to Th16 infernos take 2d and a couple hours!!! I’m going crazy on the upgrades!

Probably not a good idea because when you get to town hall 15 after the event it will be incredibly difficult to upgrade your heroes and stay afloat in a decent league
also do not use the research potion unless you are using the researcher goblin because you can boost both of them which gives takes of 2 days instead of one
How to get builder potion without a clan ?
I’ve been sneaky goblin farming and I’m already halfway done with walls now (I just got to th15)
If you play a lot you can do a lot on walls. I went from maxed th11 to almost having maxed th13 walls, about to upgrade to th14 and plan to make those walls during the event as well. Using super goblin attacks and queen with arrow you can get a lot of loot easy. Just drop the queen on the corner and use her ability when it will hit a lot of mines or storages. I got 1.5m loot in 5 seconds EZ
So if I’ve maxed out walls but my heroes still need upgrading you still recommend upgrading TH? I’m currently TH12
