Yes there's trashy areas, and there are people into criminal activities but they're nowhere in Milton you "don't want to go" at night. If there is it's only because literally nobody cares about their animals and they're are stray pitbulls roaming everywhere.

You were almost at the hood when you left the cop who had the car pulled over and were going north on Stewart Street. The "hood" would have been maybe 1/8th of a mile ahead on the right.
Check out the Mulat area if you go driving through again. This video ended with you heading in that direction. Hidden fancy neighborhoods and dirt road trailerhoods. Little bridge with graffiti underneath. Access road next to I10 with boat ramp and fishing spot. We did lots of exploring as teens out there.
On the way home from work today I saw a woman being administered a sobriety test by a state trooper. Allegedly under the influence during a weekday afternoon. SMH.
Literally just a river. But once you cross the river there is no city jurisdiction and the county assumes jurisdiction. East milton is where the majority of the local farming use to be. There's not much over here on this side of the river. A few convenient stores, an elementary school, a couple dollar stores. That's it. The jail and all the industrial parks are in East Milton.

Go to “Byrom street” and a neighborhood called “skyline” it’s off of Stewart street. That’s the closest thing to the hood in Milton

There is military housing in Milton, from the Pensacola Navy Base.
