Thank you! Just cleared my auger jam and was testing the grill and got an Sen light, working like a champ now, hopefully my crappy wiring work will hold lol.

You should say get the pellets out of the hopper before you disconnect the hopper. Although the video was a great help made it the job much easier

How do you know it’s bad?

Pro tip: empty the hopper before doing this or all of your pellets will dump out all over the fan and other stuff underneath. This might have just happened to me.

My temp will only go up to 206 when i set it to 225. Is this the part that i need to replace?

Thanks for the video! Love this smoker! I needed a new sensor after a year of frequent use but I simply permanently unplugged it from the circuit board and replaced the plug. I didn’t really need it and I like not hearing that shrill noise whenever I did happen to run low. The sensor is helpful at first with food requiring long smoking times (brisket and pork shoulders) but you figure out very quickly how often pellet refills are required. To me- it is a personal preference if you choose to replace the low pellet sensor.

Great input! Very true, once you're familiar with your grill its really not necessary.

so its sunday want to smoke some ribs. my local store is closed and it shouldn't be that hard to have a smoker that actually works. I have already replaced this once this season. very disappointed with this product. Do I have to keep my own oarts store to keep this thing running?

craig/// NO SHIT,MINE CAUGHT ON FIRE THE LAST TIME I TRIED TO USE IT!!! I CALLED GMG DIRECT,THEY DID THE TROUBLE SHOOTING OVER THE PHONE.THEY SOLD ME THE PARTS AT OVER A 50% DISCOUNT OF WHAT DEALER COST IS. I'M STILL NOT HAPPY!!! THIS GRILL MIGHT BE 7 YEARS OLD,BUT HAS ALWAYS BEEN STORED INSIDE,ALWAYS CLEANED,HAS LESS THAN 50 COOKS ON IT( USE IT FOR SMOKING).I CAN'T COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE,THEY DID TAKE CARE OF ME.I'M STARTING TO GET REAL UNHAPPY WITH THEIR PRODUCT!!! THIS WILL BE THE SECOND CONTROL PANEL AND FIRST COMBUSTION FAN!!! LIKE I SAID,MY GRILL IS STORED INSIDE A STORAGE ROOM IN MY WALK-OUT BASEMENT,NEVER EVER LEFT OUTSIDE OVERNIGHT OR RAINED ON!!! GMG KEPT PUSHING THE FACT THAT THE CONTROL PANELS WERE NOT A SEALED SYSTEM AND WOULD DRAW MOISTURE!!! THAT WAS MY DEALINGS AS OF LAST WEEK WITH GMG.THE PARTS ARE IN THE MAIL.

Seriously? We have to tell people to empty the hopper before you remove it? Y’all better just buy your smoked meat instead of trying to make it yourself…🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
