This is the ending chapter for the story of this boy. He has been in Dramaturgy, Nonsense Literature, and Outsider(maybe Ambivalent as well, seeing the wheelchair at 0:28). In this MV, he learns to let go and move on. He says goodbye to the people and things that have been with him on this journey(he has already said goodbye to Hitotsume-sama(one-eyed man with the tophat)). Because he has moved on, he isn't at the table in How to Eat Life. His place is where Judas is, therefore suggesting that he betrayed Hitotsume-sama somehow, as he sits where Jesus sits(making him a leader of some sort). The boy in this movie moves on from his past but revisits it. This time though he is watching and learning. Now that he knows what he did wrong, what he did right, and how he dealt with all of that, he is ready to share his story with others. This is just a theory/what I pieced together. Interpret what you want to. That is why I love Eve so much. All of his videos tell a story, and you can get many meanings out of just one video. So if you like your theory better, or someone else's, believe that. (Also, comment them. I would LOVE to see what other people are thinking. Thanks for reading, and have a lovely day. EDIT: Came back to vibe to Eve, and saw this. I know it's been a year, but THANK YOU ALL! I LOVE seeing your theories and thank you for relpying!! Love you all EDIT 2: (this is seconds later) another detail that this is the first part, is when the information sheets come up, the MC of this MV has "1" where the numbers are. (1:34)
I love your theory but just one question, if dancer (the guy in this mv) is who belongs at juda's place then where does inochi (inichi no tabekata guy) belongs? Because I've seen other theories wich say that inochi is the one who would have to be in Juda's place
the last line of this song supports this theory, "and so we become anecdotes of our own; now, with an uncertain smile, the stories no one knew about - i'll tell you them right now" suggests that this is indeed the boy and he's ready to tell the story of his life and the secrets he learned about the world he lives in (the one line in the song, "it hurts and hurts because i know everything"). the only thing going against this theory is something you used to support it in the first place, the table in "how to eat life", because sitting there close to hitotsume-sama is pattun, the boy from outsider. i did see someone point out in "how to eat life" that there was a poster advertising the capture and reward of kurukuru, the masked boy from dramaturgy, and some people have theorized he's the judas in this story, because he also seems to be the figure in that place (though as Nico Tine mentioned, people have said that inochi, the mc of how to eat life, is the judas, though with the information i just presented we see that kurukuru is the judas). this comment is getting quite long but if there's anything else you want me to clarify, just hmu :)
I love these kind of songs that eve makes... They always have this impression like," this is my world, I can do what ever I want," or "This is our last day, do whatever you want till our last breath" The melody is chaotic, its like its not in order or the style of the song changes overtime, yet it spreads joy at the chorus
that makes some sense; from what I can tell from the MV and what the creators have mentioned, it looks to be the story of a boy and girl in a hospital, both of who love to dance, but are suffering/recovering from conditions that make it hard for them to do so, but who learn to be happy anyways. Even if they won't be able to dance (or even live), they'll take what time they have.
It’s been a long time since Last Dance was released, so I want another look at it now that the Eve-verse has grown bigger. People have already presented a myriad options when it comes to the background for the two main characters, ranging from Mika and the Dancer being dancing partners until either one of them or both suffered an incident to the two of them being patients who met at a hospital in order to treat their respective diseases/lesions, so I’ll focus on the specifics of their relationship as the conflict of the MV while leaving the decision of “what backstory fits them better” to the reader. For starters, there’s no arguing that the song deals to some degree with drug usage, regardless of whether you consider it to be the main theme or the song or not, but something I would like to add to all the theories about Mika-san and the Dancer (a.k.a the woman and the guy you saw in this video) trying to cope with their career-ending injuries through drugs is the possibility that the Dancer was actually on his way to physical recovery throughout the song. First of all, we only see one wheelchair pop up in this MV, and it’s in the same frame as Mika’s first appearance (0:28). Also unlike the Dancer, who is conspicuously barefoot all the time, Mika wears shoes, which is to say that she isn’t standing on her own (this could be a visual metaphor for crutches or similar aid devices). On top of that, despite the fact that both Mika and the Dancer do a great deal of spinning across the MV, many of Mika’s movements focus on her arms instead of her legs (like in 0:28 again or 1:06). We actually see at 0:32 that when the Dancer performs the arm motions as well, it’s directly to imitate what Mika-san does, and it’s right after doing so that we first see his legs collapse before Sensei picks him up. I believe this represents the pressure of having to remain at the hospital in spite of already being healed by his doctor (who manifests as his Zingai, Sensei) because he feels he needs to stay by Mika’s side and continue attending to rehabilitation with her. Sensei can patch him up on the outside so he goes back to his dancing days but he can’t cure the depression that Mika’s worsening condition and the inability to dance with her ever again caused in the Dancer. Now onto the second point, lies are an important concept throughout the song, at 2:10, the Dancer asks Mika “If you would melt even frozen lies for me then”, implying he wants them both to come out clean, however at the same time the lyrics express the contradictory opinion that lies may be for the better in the drop that plays both at the beginning and at the end of Last Dance, “If our lives come to an end when we know the true motives of others then/Let's talk until our tongues go dry”. The above implies that the Dancer and Mika’s current relationship is marked by deception and that they wouldn’t be able to stay together if any of them addressed the elephant in the room, causing the Dancer conflicting feelings because he knows it’s unhealthy but can’t bring himself to bring up the truth first (hence his proposal to just “talk until our tongues go dry” so that they can delay their separation). This begs the question of what exactly is the “frozen lie” that troubles the characters, which brings me back to the point I raised earlier, the Dancer’s recovery. The Dancer, despite being unable to dance just like Mika at the beginning, has benefitted from rehabilitation and could go back to his old career if he wanted to. Yet, the same can’t be said about Mika-san, from 2:51 onwards, the Dancer says he’ll “wait for the last train” but that in Mika’s case she doesn’t “have a way to return though”. That is to say that the Dancer wants to wait until Mika recovers too and become his partner again, despite being aware that it’s never going to happen due to her deteriorating health (we even see her lose her hair to addiction and/or illness at 3:23). However, the Dancer finally decides to leave the hospital, characterized by its patients spinning in place without purpose, and instead takes the plunge by walking on the tightrope while Mika stays behind. The spinning itself isn’t a coincidence either, the circular hand motion that the Dancer does at 1:36 it’s a shared motif across Eve’s works, featuring prominently in Literary Nonsense and being associated in that song with the idea of mindlessly dancing your problems away instead of dealing with them properly, which is exactly what we see Mika and the Dancer do throughout most of the song whenever they spin. Therefore, it’s not surprising that Eve decided to reuse Literary Nonsense ’s “If we became idiots and danced mid-air” line here. Thus, the act of stopping his spinning to move forward, despite the chance of falling from the tightrope, represents the Dancer’s determination to move on with his life no matter the difficulties after realizing that his relationship with Mika turned toxic for both on them. On one hand, “The "consumable goods" you mentioned” and similar indicate that Mika is the one who introduced the Dancer to drugs (and the green he paints on his tongue at 2:14 happens to be the same green paint always covering Mika’s hair), but at the same time the Dancer only made Mika’s situation worse by drugging himself as well, since he only enabled her addiction and worsened his own issues instead of helping her. In the end (3:30), putting aside his feelings of guilt and realizing that even if they said goodbye it was just a matter of waiting “Until we meet again someday”, the Dancer, at last, gives Mika a genuine smile instead of the uncanny one that drugs had previously plastered on his face, before the credits roll and they enjoy their eponymous “Last Dance” together. TL:DR Dancer had to accept that taking the metaphorical and not-so-metaphorical train out of the Hospital didn’t mean being a jerk and that he wasn't simply abandoning Mika out of selfishness. Other details that I couldn’t fit anywhere else; -The eyes on Mika’s shoes and the Dancer’s red nail polish could be a metaphor for how everyone around them only cared about whether they would be able to continue dancing or not, not bothering to look at anything beyond their ‘feet’. -Considering that the hospital rooms are covered with Hitotsume-sama’s eyes as well, to the point that their signature camera pose appears at 2:47 (suspiciously performed by what appears to be the Sensei’s hands, since Hitotsume’s nails are longer/sharper and the Dancer has shorter fingers), one of the other themes of the MV seems to be society’s view on the physically and mentally disabled. To be more specific, it deals with the mistreatment caused by the relentless growth and greed of modern society that only cares about a person's ability to be productive, while ignoring those who can't follow this standard due to their disabilities (At this place are overgrown skyscrapers/ Which have come and taken buds that are certainly yours), leaving all the ill people at the hospital as “yes-man patients” who have no choice but to accept the way society punishes them for their condition. However, a detail that caught my attention is that the lyrics say “With different values,/that guy who I hate,/put on a ridiculous sneer” upon showing one of the hospital's Zingai patients onscreen; Coupled with the fact that the Dancer’s Zingai , a reflection of a person’s other aspects, did the Hitotsume camera pose and that Dramaturgy treats Hitotsume as ‘the judging eye of society’ as per Goffman’s theory of dramaturgy, it’s possible that the Dancer himself dislikes his fellow patient due to what society has told him to believe and that Sensei (the ‘doctor’ who fixes him throughout the song) is the manifestation of his desire to heal and get out of the hospital ASAP. -Sensei, the Zingai in the white hood, isn’t a doctor just because of what he does for the Dancer. In Japanese, doctors are called “Sensei”, so the Dancer’s Zingai might actually be named “Doctor”, depending on what Mah intended. -Judging by the hospital motif, the soundwaves at 2:31 onwards are probably meant to resemble a heart monitor. -As shown in the beginning, the ‘hospital’ building itself is permanently spinning, which makes it shake the whole time. And I really mean THE WHOLE THE TIME, pick any random segment you would think is static at first glance (e.g 1:24) and you’ll notice the sky move through anything transparent, Mah definitely outdid himself with the details. Although in light of what spinning and dancing entail in Eve’s MVs, this most likely means bad news for the hospital… And that was it, congratulations to anyone who decided to read till the end of this! I love Last Dance, so I’m happy I finally got around to writing down all my thoughts on this Music Video, it's still the best Eve song in my opinion.
If you are listening with headphones of some sort, you might notice two different guitar riffs playing in each ear(left & right). Listening with only one side of your headphones will give you two different songs depending on which side you listen on. Recognizing this detail and then appreciating how they are what makes the song the magnificent piece of art it is, is what I think is the best way to enjoy this song to the fullest.
It's something about Eve's videos that really grab the words "creative" and " celestial" so much. These songs might have a simple meaning in one's head, but the video adds such excellence to them, and i think that's why i love Eve's work so much. The animation and scenery really adds that pinch of cinnamon we need.
Wow I’m so glad I found about Eve. The first time I watched this MV I really fell in love with it all. With this type of animation and lyrics, I truly believe that every single detail has a meaning. Oh boy, it was really hard trying to make everything connect, but here is my interpretation of the video: The three main characters of this plot are the boy in black, the girl in gray, and the person in white. Like previous interpretations of this story, I think that the boy and the girl are both sick in the hospital, with the references of bloody feet at 0:22, the wheelchair at 0:30, pills at 0:37, and more. As for the person in white shown at 0:46, I think he helps the boy to recover from his illness in order for him to keep dancing with the girl in gray. (You can see that when the boy falls at 0:41, the person in white holds him up and pieces him back together). The boy, while being constantly torn apart both by his physical illness and his mental state, always shows a smile. In the very beginning of the video (0:24), you can see that he gives a warm smile and hugs another person, showing that this boy presumably likes to help other people find happiness. In this way, I think the boy wants to be the mode of support for the girl in gray, although they are both struggling. In the first chorus (1:05-1:11), both characters are hiding their face, which kind of alludes to the themes of Eve’s previous songs (finding who you really are, hiding your true self, etc.). I feel like the lyrics of the chorus: “The young boy and girl wrapped in feelings; the “yes”-man patients who cleared their sorrows; things not belonging to anyone nor nobody” all refer to the main boy and girl. (A yes-man always agrees with their superiors) It shows their lost state of mind, and their lack of sense of belonging. “If our lives come to an end, when we know the true motives of others then. Let’s talk until our tongues go dry” refers to their confusion of their identity, and how other people also hide their true feelings. By talking about everything, they feel as if they can truly understand each other. After 1:30, you can really see the deterioration of the boy. He falls into depression, and he doesn’t think it is worth living anymore; however, after seeing the girl again, he leaves/ ignores all his problems, puts on a smile, and dances with her once more. At 2:01, he moves as if he clears the way for her, like he is trying to find a way for her to dance. He also finds solitude in her, and hopes that he can clear the confusion in his head. At 2:17, “The talented who understand solitude and the melancholic patients who chose tomorrow” contrasts him with the others. He glorifies how he feels (“talented”), and believes that he can’t win his battle against his illness (“until we meet again someday”) “I’ll wait for the last train” refers to his “departure” from this world, and how both the boy and the girl feel like they “shouldn’t even be here”. At 3:10, when the boy says “because I know everything”, he knows all this because of how they talk until their “tongues go dry”. When the girl says “consumable goods” throughout the song, she might be talking about themselves, as they have no place to return to. At the end, when the girl rips out her hair, and both dancers stand on two different sides, I think that represents their new beginning (maybe in death?). For the first time in the video, they are pictured close to each other, and the boy gives a reassuring smile once more to her. There were so many references to others songs in here! At 1:35, one of the papers has the girl from Dramaturgy, and Eve also sings lyrics from Nonsense Bungaku and Outsider. I think this means that somehow, all of those characters are living in the same universe. Also, at the end, a monster (I think it’s hitosume) appears, handing off a book. I think this relates to Nonsense Bungaku somehow. Anyways, this analysis became so much longer than I expected it to be. (Essay skills paying off 💪) I know I didn’t even nearly cover everything in this video. For anyone who read the whole thing, thank you! I congratulate you for reading through an essay of me trying to make sense of the video.
I always assumed that Hitotsume was a manifestation of entropy indicated by how chaotic everything was in his presence. This MV sheds some new light on Hitotsume, turning him from a manifestation of entropy to some sort of story-teller. In Nonsense Literature, we could see him stuff books into the head of the protagonist. Due to this, it was commonly believed that the song was an interpretation of school and the nonsense that was presumably stuffed into our heads. But due to this MV, I think Hitotsume was stuffing stories and anecdotes into the guy's head instead of school-related knowledge. This is further supported by how in the end of this MV, Hitotsume passes down a book towards what I assume to be the protagonist of this MV.
Great analysis! However, I prefer to believe that the protagonist and "female" dancer is the same person, here is the evidence: at 0:21, his feet are worn-out because he wears the dancing shoes that don't fit him ; at 3:15 when the "girl" tear off the hair and shows the similar face with the protagonist, notice that the tip of the protagonist's hair remains grey; they have similar body shape and similar dancing moves. I might be wrong but according to this, I think this song is not about the "illness", it is about the conversation and compromise between the inner self and the persona, the protagonist tries to find the answer to move towards to the future. But I still don't get the meaning of "consumables", does it mean soul or body or life? If you have any idea please tell me.
Honestly, Mah's visuals will never cease to amaze me. And Eve's originality and talent always manage to give me chills. All those references in both the video and lyrics, it's just wonderful.
I think this video might be about a famous dancer who suffered from an accident and lost the ability to walk, eventually turning to LSD to try and recapture his days of dancing and fame. Towards the beginning at 0:28 we see a wheelchair, along with a masked dancer(May have been his dancing partner). We can also see him on the couch with injured legs, his feet are covered with scratches and bandages throughout the video. We can also see examples of him being famous because there are a lot of scenes where they make the camera hand gesture like they are taking a picture. They also show eyes everywhere, even towards the end when he is standing on the building with eyes all over his feet. I think the eyes on his feet resemble how the whole world had their eyes on him during the time he lost the ability to dance. This scene is also where most of the eyes appear, while the rest of the video they are occasional. I think this could represent how people only paid real attention to his dancing when he was injured. ie. people who get severely injured and cant play an instrument anymore become famous because of pity. I think the masked girl was his dance partner, and that she also took a hit from the sudden attention from the public on his injury, losing her hair due to stress. I think that the sudden loss of his ability to dance and the pity he got from strangers who never knew him drove him to take LSD to try and relive the days he could dance. Ideas are jumbled because im a crap writer, feel free to repost in a way that people can read. edit: Also at 1:34 you see the guy from dramaturgy who was a famous actor( dont know the full story behind that song). They are in a pile like they are famous celebrities who lost fame.
@@rasheedgonzales6679 Waboku only did Eve's Tokyo Ghetto animation. Mah did this animation but according to this MV's description Waboku helped in making of the MV.
Long Comment: After re-watching the video a few times and looking at some other people's theories, I feel that this song is actually talking about the uses of drugs and its effects on people. We see it multiple instances but at 0:54 is where it is confirmed 'The consumable goods you mentioned-'. The lyrics hint many times to the effects of the drugs, good and bad. At 0:24, the man hugs the monster or the drug he is taking. As the drug is giving him comfort and makes him relaxed, he doesn't resist when someone paints his toes. Shortly after that, we see the girl with a yellow wheelchair in the background. It's unclear who the wheelchair belongs to but feel free to discuss in the comments below. As it is only shown when the girl was on screen, I'll say it probably belongs to her. At 0:36 the monster takes what seems like an absurd amount of pills/drugs, it represents the guy taking the drugs to get high basically. 1:00 are presumably him and the drug's effects on his mental state. On the left and right he is dancing and relaxing whilst in the middle are the drug's negative effects on him, causing him psychological damage from the overuse of his drug. 1:08 'The "yes" man patients who cleared their sorrows;' seems to be talking about how the drug is often used in hospitals, probably as a treatment for patients with anxiety and depression. We know that this guy is hospitalized because many instances of the video are seen with a hospital bed 2:16. And from 1:24 onward is probably the definite nod we need to know that all eve songs are connected. Because as stated in the lyrics,The guy is recalling events from his past. That could mean this guy is the same person from all of those flashbacks and that now he is taking drugs to remember the better days. It also confirms that this video takes place after Outsider. I believe the people come from: Nonsense Literature, Dramaturgy, Outsider and ?? I can't figure this one out. I feel as if Nonsense Literature takes place after Demon Dance Tokyo as it shares a similar theme to a girl that the guy likes. They get into arguments and eventually break up, with even the song itself saying that his heart has fell ill (sent to the hospital). His next hospital visit is from Dramaturgy, he becomes an actor (not sure if he actually got a job as an actor or if the video is a metaphor to his mental health) At this point the MC is going through a serious depressive stage that warrants him to the hospital for mental support. In the song, it says multiple times that he can't feel humanity's warmth anymore (his treatment by therapists is not working) and rips off his mask that hides his real emotions, therefore accepting his treatment. What happens next will be Outsider I presume. Outsider's artworks feature a lot of hospital related items, such as the lines connected to him by the IV hospital bag as well as injections and blood tests. A light in his heart is ignited and the song is about him willing to embrace change (with moments of giving up as well). Finally we have Last Dance, as the title implies, this song is about his last dance. This is already his 4th/5th hospital visit and the doctors decided to give him medication to help with his anxiety. This turns out to be a bad thing as he soon becomes more and more dependant on it. He finds comfort in the drugs but his desire for that same comforting feeling is making him take it more than needed. Anyways back to the analysis :) In 1:41 the drug as taken over his mind, he loses control of himself and seeks only to recall past memories (Outsider), he is crawling to them in an act of desperation as the drug's effects are wearing off. At 1:51, bits of him start to float away, most likely meaning that he is actually losing parts of himself literally. In the video, the women also takes the same drugs as it is "her" who gave him the drug in the first place. The girl pulling off her hair can be perceived as her actually losing a lot of her hair or as a way to show that the drug is changing her physical appearance. It is a little hard to spot but if you look carefully the girl's hair is a grey colour, as she pulls it off it shows green hair, as if the drug itself is causing her hair colour to change as depicted in 0:28, 0:56 and then in 3:12. Him standing over the city on a ledge is also probably made up as well as he shows a lack of fear when literally walking on a thin line 3:25. At 3:58 seems to be two people holding a book except one's hand resembles almost like a demon. It might just be the same solution to the drug except one, the girl had the drug and it helped her and two, the guy who was dependent on the drug and turned into a monster. This is a just my theory so tell me your opinion or if any of my points are incorrect. After I looked at one of the japanese comments it turns out that the title of the song "Last Dance" actually has the letters "L" "S" and "D" in large cursive writing. That most likely means the drug being used in the video is LSD. Thanks for anyone who read this far. EDIT: Added some more points
@@2nowfall I'm pretty sure that LSD is mostly taken in pill form. I just found that interesting because it is mostly matches the effects described in the lyrics: pleasure, having a long trip, is used often in patients with anxiety and can make you remember past memories. As shown in the video LSD can have different effects because everyone is different. Some people who take it have changed their lives for the better, whilst some others had such a bad trip that it creates fear and anxiety.
Even after three years, despite all your improvement, Last Dance is still my favourite. There is something visceral about this song, something raw, despite how refined and complex it really is. It's like a glass of clear, cool, spring water, on a hot, summer day.

Love you all
EDIT 2: (this is seconds later) another detail that this is the first part, is when the information sheets come up, the MC of this MV has "1" where the numbers are. (1:34)
I love your theory but just one question, if dancer (the guy in this mv) is who belongs at juda's place then where does inochi (inichi no tabekata guy) belongs? Because I've seen other theories wich say that inochi is the one who would have to be in Juda's place
wise words, ps1 hagrid
the last line of this song supports this theory, "and so we become anecdotes of our own; now, with an uncertain smile, the stories no one knew about - i'll tell you them right now" suggests that this is indeed the boy and he's ready to tell the story of his life and the secrets he learned about the world he lives in (the one line in the song, "it hurts and hurts because i know everything"). the only thing going against this theory is something you used to support it in the first place, the table in "how to eat life", because sitting there close to hitotsume-sama is pattun, the boy from outsider. i did see someone point out in "how to eat life" that there was a poster advertising the capture and reward of kurukuru, the masked boy from dramaturgy, and some people have theorized he's the judas in this story, because he also seems to be the figure in that place (though as Nico Tine mentioned, people have said that inochi, the mc of how to eat life, is the judas, though with the information i just presented we see that kurukuru is the judas). this comment is getting quite long but if there's anything else you want me to clarify, just hmu :)
Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us today ps1 Hagrid.

I love these kind of songs that eve makes...
They always have this impression like," this is my world, I can do what ever I want," or "This is our last day, do whatever you want till our last breath"
The melody is chaotic, its like its not in order or the style of the song changes overtime, yet it spreads joy at the chorus
Yeh
It’s really upbeat and stuff but also has that message that you can relate to. That’s why I love Eve so much
何言ってるか分かんないけど多分いい事言ってるんだろうなぁ笑
He's songs are really catchy
that makes some sense; from what I can tell from the MV and what the creators have mentioned, it looks to be the story of a boy and girl in a hospital, both of who love to dance, but are suffering/recovering from conditions that make it hard for them to do so, but who learn to be happy anyways. Even if they won't be able to dance (or even live), they'll take what time they have.
ライブのエンディングにラストダンスを選ぶEveくんのセンスは半端じゃないと思う

Other details that I couldn’t fit anywhere else;
-The eyes on Mika’s shoes and the Dancer’s red nail polish could be a metaphor for how everyone around them only cared about whether they would be able to continue dancing or not, not bothering to look at anything beyond their ‘feet’.
Although in light of what spinning and dancing entail in Eve’s MVs, this most likely means bad news for the hospital…
And that was it, congratulations to anyone who decided to read till the end of this! I love Last Dance, so I’m happy I finally got around to writing down all my thoughts on this Music Video, it's still the best Eve song in my opinion.
i love u for this, thank you ( ⚈̥̥̥̥̥́⌢⚈̥̥̥̥̥̀)💕

If you are listening with headphones of some sort, you might notice two different guitar riffs playing in each ear(left & right). Listening with only one side of your headphones will give you two different songs depending on which side you listen on. Recognizing this detail and then appreciating how they are what makes the song the magnificent piece of art it is, is what I think is the best way to enjoy this song to the fullest.
RIP people who are deaf in one ear.
my mind just fills in the other riff because i've heard it for the past four years
my left isnt very good so i literally cant tell lol
I'm not sure they meant for two songs to be available, this is just what good mixing is.
Only realised this after buying new earbuds that arent broken on one side XD

It's something about Eve's videos that really grab the words "creative" and " celestial" so much. These songs might have a simple meaning in one's head, but the video adds such excellence to them, and i think that's why i love Eve's work so much. The animation and scenery really adds that pinch of cinnamon we need.
Wow I’m so glad I found about Eve. The first time I watched this MV I really fell in love with it all. With this type of animation and lyrics, I truly believe that every single detail has a meaning. Oh boy, it was really hard trying to make everything connect, but here is my interpretation of the video:
The three main characters of this plot are the boy in black, the girl in gray, and the person in white.
あーなるほどね…はいはい
これたぶん考察してんだろうけどわからんw

2:55 this has been my wallpaper for like 3 years now, I'm never changing it
I think this video might be about a famous dancer who suffered from an accident and lost the ability to walk, eventually turning to LSD to try and recapture his days of dancing and fame.

Long Comment:
After re-watching the video a few times and looking at some other people's theories, I feel that this song is actually talking about the uses of drugs and its effects on people.
His next hospital visit is from Dramaturgy, he becomes an actor (not sure if he actually got a job as an actor or if the video is a metaphor to his mental health)
At this point the MC is going through a serious depressive stage that warrants him to the hospital for mental support. Anyways back to the analysis :)
In 1:41 the drug as taken over his mind, he loses control of himself and seeks only to recall past memories (Outsider), he is crawling to them in an act of desperation as the drug's effects are wearing off.
EDIT: Added some more points
thanks for thinking so I dont have to
CovertBoat There’s plenty of cool theories people wrote! I suggest you check them out ^_^
Bruh, you're probably right!
Idk about the lsd thing because lsd usually isn’t taken in pill form
@@2nowfall I'm pretty sure that LSD is mostly taken in pill form. I just found that interesting because it is mostly matches the effects described in the lyrics: pleasure, having a long trip, is used often in patients with anxiety and can make you remember past memories.
As shown in the video LSD can have different effects because everyone is different. Some people who take it have changed their lives for the better, whilst some others had such a bad trip that it creates fear and anxiety.
