I'm into quads, not planes but you guys are such incredible ambassadors for winged RC models that I had to buy everything I need for my first build project during winter. I'm really looking forward to joining the RC plane family soon. Thank you.
I agree completely. Like the old style when David Windestal and Peter Sripol were at Flite Test. I liked those older videos. More informative and Professional.
Does this makes the Founders Legacy planes less unique? Just messing with you, I am glad anyone can now build the Legacy. I built 2, one single and one twin. My buddy did a figure 9 with the twin at FF Texas...but it is now back in the air.
Hey Josh....i built a telemaster 60 gas size from scratch. And my dream was to work for hobby lobby....lol. well i moved to nashville in 2008 and went to work there.....i worked at the hobby shop until about 6 months before it closed. A very sad day. Wish i still had that telemaster.......:(

Hey Flite Test it would be really cool if you would release some German WWII warbirds (BF109/FW190/Heinkel He111/ Stuka) they look really cool and are a awesome competitor against the allied planes! I would love it!
Check out the flite test fans page on Facebook. A guy named Sankaran has made FT style B-25, P40 and a Stuka. Hopefully that’ll hold you off until FT releases more planes 😉

You know... The more time passes, the less special I feel for having a Founders Edition FT Legacy. It started of as a one off plane that only Founders could get with free plans for the public. Then it changed to speed build kits going up on the store with the aluminum landing gear being only available for the Founders. And now anyone can get the whole package! What was the point in supporting the GoFundMe with this package if all anyone had to do to get one was wait a year later?!?!
Personally, I didn’t donate for the perk. Sure it was nice but I support Flite Test and what they are trying to accomplish for the hobby so I was more than happy to give my hard earned money to support them.
I’m sorry you felt misled. The goal of the founders plane was always to release it at Flitefest Ohio. The perk level was to give early access to the founders as a perk. We did not get all the planes out before FFO so we held off getting until FFTexas. I hope this clears things up. I’m sorry if I was not clear in the past. JB
It's one thing to have the perk of getting something early, but FliteTest isn't about keeping planes from everyone else. That would be a hugh turn off to their fan base, and would cost them money to hold it back.

Build a plane out of inflatables. Since summer is over it would be cool to see pool toys flying around in the snow!
