E06 - Layout View GrandMA3 OnPC tutorial

Learn how to setup your layout view on the GrandMA3 console.
In this GrandMA 3 OnPC tutorial I am going to show you how to setup your layout view from scratch.
The GrandMA 3 Layout view is a very powerful tool when you start programming your show.
With the layout view you can select your lighting fixtures in a 2d sheet.
The GrandMA3 layout view also give you constant feedback on what you fixtures are doing and at what level and color they are right now.
You can store groups, sequences and macros in the layout view in the same way as you assign single fixtures, and that makes the layout view a powerful tool for your lighting programming.

How do you open the menu to change the colors when you’re on a console and don’t have a mouse to right click? I tried the edit button but it opens a different menu

I can't Assign directly Group from Pool Groups to Layout - it create a Button to choose it. Assign works only when choose fixtures by number in command line (or like this: Group 6 Please Assing). Maybe it is any kid of option somewhere in menu. (activated / deactivated "setup" of layout window doesn't change anything

hello, i have a problem when I assign my groups on the layout it only show a square with "all vipers" write and a can't see my fixtures. What did I miss?

select the group before pressing assign and then click in the layout to place the fixtures.

"You can just zoom in...." and magically the screen zooms........ How do you zoom in?

It's pretty simple, Have you tried using your scroll wheel on your mouse? and if you're on a console pinch the screen
