Matt, i also recommended that you write a book about yourself,your family, and alaskan bush people. Just make sure you contract with a reputable publisher and writer. I'm sure the offers from writers in these comments are all good and honest,but a well known publisher and writer is the best choice in my opinion. Good luck Matt!

Stay safe, Matt. :) I don't know you personally but I do not want to see the world lose a lovely person like you when we need more of you around because you're honest, sweet and living on your own terms. I'm heading out on an adventure soon, too. I did manage to get my post office errands done and got a few library books. No church this week for me since I'll be out, too, getting ready for my hiking trip. Just myself for 2 weeks, homemade dehydrated meals, a few water filters, tent & cot, etc. is how I like it. Going to finish my editing and post before I leave cause I promised book making videos lol You motivate me to be myself. Thank you for that.

All of the scouting & pulling the heavy sled I was praying the trail led to the cabin. "I'm way too loud" aww bless your heart. To me you didn't sound loud but I forget that open ground like a mountain range amplifies sound! On to part two 🥾🏔

Hey Matt, you have no idea how happy this video makes me and I didn't expect you to be that fast with editing the first part of your trip to be honest 😄 It's the first snow of the season I'm seeing and it feels like a real adventure you were on. Glad the sled worked and you (obviously 🙂) found your way to the cabin and back. Also I loved seeing your old Cowboy friend even if it was only his hands. They spoke of wisdom and a stage of life where people seem to know best what is worth to worry about and what is not. One of my best friends is 89 and when I drink tea with her in her kitchen and listen to her I always feel so enlightened somehow. She keeps telling me exactly this, live your life on life's terms and enjoy every day. Focus on the good, travel and get to see the world and don't postpone achieving your dreams... Your old Cowboy friend might have an equally calming and wise and somehow even protective influence on you maybe... Glad your well Matt, loved you in the show with your family and I hope that you all stay in touch and there’s not too much bad blood. Obviously recent events have probably driven home even harder how important family is and I’m so sorry for the loss of your dad, he was an inspiration to many. The fact you fought your addiction and are winning really makes happy , I’ve also suffered with addiction and I’m on maintenance medication the now, I’m the best I’ve been for a long time for a year now.
