I had to write it all out like this so I could find out everything I needed to gather up in survival and it made it a lot easier so I thought I'd share lol
Ok so I spent like an hour, counting my the layout blocks over and over again because the bottom two logs weren't lining up and counted your layout over and over and I'm pretty sure that side that has the 6 of the left and the two on the right is actually 7 blocks and not 6
The video is correct. I don't know if you mean the 6 of the right wall of the mine entrance, or the 6 of the main entrance to the house. But at the begining of the video, you can see him start cutting grass for the mine and it goes 6 blocks in. And at 4:20 you can see him place exactly 6 cobblestone blocks in lengh.

just finished building this! few things i’d like to say - material count is off on multiple things - some materials aren’t included in the list - a lot of comments said they were off by one block, this doesn’t happen if you pay close attention to the measurements he provides! - it’s easy to change things up to what you like! i changed the following : • used dark oak instead of spruce • chose to not make a mine with the carts and rails, still debating what to make it. • completely changed the bedroom and did my own thing with red flowers, beds, book shelves, and paintings • chose to only make one wall of chests in the downstairs and instead used crafting tables/other necessities • used red carpet instead of green! overall this was a fun house to make although i was overwhelmed at first it only took me a few days!
If you’re still not sure on what to do as an alternative to the mine entrance you could always make it into an entrance to an underground farm for food or animals ☺️
I noticed that the back area of the house was pretty bare, so i gave it a nice leaf pathway. Resources i used were: azazea purple flowered leaves, stone slabs, oak fences and lanterns for lighting. I love your creation! It really made my mc world a lot brighter and more colourful. Thank you.
it is not just the quantity of some materials that varies, but there are multiple items that are just not on the materials list like stone buttons and item frames. Otherwise this is a very nice tutorial, easy to follow along to and very nice speed throughout the video
@@myrealnameismichael Yeah, simple as in a very neat look in a small build. Usually if I wanted this much detail I’d have to build a whole mansion or castle.

Awesome build, but my only critique is to maybe have things in a more comprehensive order as of building. I'm currently mid build and it's taking twice as long because you will stop and completely switch gears to decoration (Ex, when you finish the floor of the second floor and immediately switch to decorating the mine enterance). I would suggest leave detailing to the end of the exterior and focus on structure and layout -> filling out -> major details (wood accents, adding a support beam, etc) -> THEN Minor details (such as the mine enterence). I change the mine to a house stable. Thanks for the tutorial.
pro tip: if u are playing with ur friends digging straight down from any point on the wall just front of the door on ground floor will have a direct connection with ur mine. u can hide ur stuff there
