I do have a comment. I would love to see, Clams, Dibbs, deermeat, and of course Gouga do an Iron Chef cook off, after yall go fishing for a weekend. Just saying I think it's Ubutegold. 😂
Great video Will! As soon as you said steelhead video, I was like, did I miss one & I didn’t. I’m sure it’s coming. The soup looked absolutely delicious. I was wondering if a broth instead of water would be better, so I’m asking? I was typing when you mentioned mama clams, so I waited. Please let her know that we love her thoughts, but fully understand why. Thanks for sharing!!!
HOW did I miss this?! Another delicious recipe, do you think I could skip the Rosemary? Would the flavor come out the same-ish? I really want to try this, would any mushroom do, I'm not a forager so if you could suggest something easily found in the store please? Thanks again, Will. Going to go raid the fridge, I'm hungry 😂😂
@@CookingWithClams I always get notifications when you post, so I didn't understand how I missed it. So I'm a little more talkative, because the more interaction the more the video is out there. Thinking Portobello? Can't wait to try it!
Mushrooms Demystifyed and All that the rain promises and more are two great books for field books for beginners as well. Greetings from Alaska and thx for the content!
Cool video my friend, oyster mushrooms are hands down my favorite, but down here in southern Louisiana we mostly find them on dead or dying willow trees, really that's the only trees I take them from, the weather in which they grow here are the same, especially really foggy days. My favorite ways to cook them are deep fried "obviously" or cooked down with brown gravy and onions over a nice steak. Again great video and thanks for the recipe, I will try it. 😊
You know Will, I never considered looking for oyster mushrooms this time of the year. Fishing season opens here in less than a week so I'll be keeping my eyes pealed on the way to my trout spots. Thanks for another fantastic recipe.
A bevy of unknowns but a positive delicious!!outcome .
Go with what you know
