New era?? This is not anything to clap about, it lucks design or any creativity. Just some welded metals which bus fabricators have been doing for ages. Please visit Kiira Motors website and see locally produced cars in Uganda or Kantanka cars made in Ghana. Hii mediocrity ya Kenya nî gutee
@@tom32575 who has talked about politics. you are out of context. You talking about Kenya and Kenya being our business yet that engine in that car has just been plucked out from a generator/car or motorcycle what will happen to that Nyahururu 'car' if engine companies in Japan closes down?? My perspective on innovation is very different from yours i have researched widely and i know its possible to develop petrol engines and EVS because Uganda and Ghana have done it.
This guy has always been building unique mechanical stuff since I was a kid. He had this landrover in the 90's and early 2000's that only him could fire up😂
I salute the guy for the effort . but there are few concerns; 1. theres a reason a tuk tuk is certain size , you cant just make it bigger and heavier, the engine can only handle so much.theres a reason we did not see the "vehicle" carrying the 25 bags of cement or full of passengers. 2. when you are making automobiles for human transport ,safety is a critical component .authorizing such a vehicle for road use just to be "supportive" is downright reckless . rigorous tests need to done and certain standards met prior to that.
Surely in this era of computers and technology can't we utilise design skills???? This car looks like a 1940 car you can't compete in such a way in modern world.. check kiira motors in Uganda
Safety features Airbag and inspection are very paramount , 😀😀😊😊 this can't pass any tests to quality for carrying passengers ,maybe for farm use ONLY 😅😅

If it’s classified as “tuktuk” it’s better than the imported ones. This one looks stronger. J don’t know how much it costs, and the maximum speed it can do. Tuktuk cost like Ksh 450,000. This one I give it like 200K. It’s cost effective.

I think its a step at a time, I wish Laikipia government sponsors this guy with one or two competent engineers from a bigger experienced company
It's good to be supportive but as well be supportive in the right manner, this vehicle should be taken to experts for 101% safety check up, I agree
