First we need to teach guys to be masculine, real men again. And only then girls will be able to relax and become truly feminine. Feminism went too far and tries to turn a woman into a man. Thus, girls become so manly and guys are so feminised. That's so wrong. Let man be the man in life and relationships.

As a guy who's trying to improve himself, definitely agree but I think it applies to everyone. Get your stuff together before dumping it on somebody else. Or as a great man said, "Clean up your damn room!" ;)
Improvement isn't bad. You always have room to grow as a human being; saying you have nowhere to go but up is definitely not an insult. Brittany makes great points about being too difficult on yourself about it, though. I could sure use a few pointers there.

midgetydeath lol what are you trying to say? First off.... the left doesn’t speak about self improvement. The idea that you are not as good as you can be, and you could do better is pretty much wholeheartedly against the leftist ideology. Having said that... Are you really that bad a judge of character where you can’t spot the difference between someone who has their stuff together and takes care of themselves vs someone just coasting through life? You don’t....or shouldn’t Have to date someone for a prolonged period of time just to be able to figure out if they have themselves together. Yes. Nobody can see your journey of self improvement when they first interact with you. But if you have made self improvement a regular habit in your life.....then yes people can absolutely quickly determine that you’re a more complete and capable person. And that is attractive. Im not sure what you’re trying to say but it is never a bad idea to continue to improve. The idea that you can’t self motivate is on you. There is no reason why you can’t get up every day with the intent to do well all by yourself. If you need someone to make you feel happy enough to start to find value in taking care of yourself.....that is codependency and that isn’t healthy. You need to like yourself enough to want to improve things for yourself. That is ultimately what is attractive.

24:00 that derisive attitude towards stay at home moms and mothers in general has always bothered me.
My mother grew up on a farm and was the stereotypical Susie Homemaker during my childhood in addition to having a job and you know what? I find that she’s the strongest and most resourceful woman I know.
She taught me to cook, clean, sew, and do home repairs and now I walk around in bizzarro world. Why? Because the women I meet now can’t do ANY of these things most of the time, and I think, “if you can’t do these things and can’t find anyone to pair up with who can, you’re in trouble.”
I react angrily to what Feminism has turned women into, but the truth is that it makes me sad in an almost Tolkien-esque kind of way: women as the loving, nurturing, inspiring people that they once were have almost completely disappeared from the West. And the West is poorer for it.

I really enjoyed this interview, Brittany mentioned how middle school boys are faced with terms like toxic masculinity and patriarchy which can affect their development. I've encountered a bit of that in talking to middle school kids on my channel but I've seen more of the opposite, with young teens lashing out against feminism, women, and sjws. Sometimes they seem less focused on personal development and compassion towards others but get sucked more into the bitterness of being annoyed and angry at the left or liberals.

Without Women like this Society degrades and becomes unstable , I feel this is so fundamental for a Culture to survive, where Men withdraw and their aggression is not tamed, it effects every aspect of life and threatens the West by the continuing breakdown. Roamie is such a Girl, She is an outstanding example of the Magic of Women that Men instinctively crave and are so fascinated with from the time we were young Boys ( Character ,Beauty , Brains and the intangibles we adore) its such a power that's so wonderful & we need.
But has been so suppressed, distorted and derided since the 70's mostly by Feminism, (bizarre a movement named after Woman that's so antithetical & harmful to what they are ?) Its created resentment , so many contemporary Women have been affected by it and feel so entitled and an exaggerated sense of ability and worth .

My true love i know i she would have given me the confidence to get out there and be who i was meant to be, to succeed in my career, learn to drive, we would have had a family, everything. I would have got that support from her, knowing she was behind me all the way and i for her. I screwed it up and i let her down cause i never let the relationship develop to that point.
I have to live with that, but i just want to say men and women when they find love together can balance eachother out, everything just clicks and then you have equality (i think), atleast between those two individuals. Its true that all we need is love.
Extreme Feminism, Toxic Masculinity today, all its caused is men and women to compete and kind of fight eachother and its a shame. I just hope things get better and its not always like this.

Girls seem to use social status as a weapon, opting to destroy other girls' reputation, rather than, uh... Destroying them physically.

You make it seem like you're sad you missed the slut, party lifestyle and are resenting your church. Why didn't you go on the path of courtship *intended* towards marriage by the age of say 20 at most? Start courtship at 14, *learn* responsibilities by 16, *practice* responsible lifestyle and segue into marriage in which you become a dutiful wife. That way you could enjoy sex early *within marriage* without embarking on the casual sex, party lifestyle path. It's amazing how you are blaming church for that.
Heck, you could even get married earlier, if you were that desperate for sex - of course you'd still need to *learn* and *practice* responsibility but in this latter example such a personal growth of yours would happen within marriage.
So there were 2 different paths to sex - none of which involved the casual sex dating lifestyle, but since you weren't aware of that, now you are blaming your church - wow (I say this word sarcastically).

The problem is that this is far too categorized. It is ok to have a belief and to live that believe as long as it does not hurt others. The problem here is that men can be nurturing, and many are. Many women naturally take charge, and that is ok to. But to tell them they are wrong for doing what comes naturally makes you a bit hypocritical. It does a disservice to both men and women to have the extremes of both sides of this argument. Both men and women have room to grow, booth should look inward.

Being called a 'man' or a 'woman' used to mean something. It meant that you have matured enough (physically able to reproduce, emotionally to know that things will not always go your way, mentally able to deal with new people and problems) to be able to navigate through life without your parents guiding you as they had. Now people want to just relegate that to a physical state. I say no - you're not a man or a woman unless you've proven yourself in ALL areas. This is why 'rites of passage' were so important in earlier civilizations and cultures - it meant that those who would call themselves 'adults' were now held to a standard that they must fulfill to their society - regardless of where on the social rung you are on and regardless on how you 'felt' day to day. It's called 'responsibility'.
Responsibility is key - owning yourself means that if something's broken in yourself that you have to at least try to fix it - yourself. Granted, not everyone can fix themselves and you can't fix some flaws. Even so, make an honest effort. Those who can see that honest effort do exist - find those people and make them your friends (or enemies, you may need that harsh mirror outside of your house to keep yourself honest).

Brittany nails it at 12:00. There is so much in pop culture that tells people how they're perfect and beautiful just the way the are, both inside and out. I had several songs pop into my head just as she was talking about it, and I don't even listen to pop music.

This is great stuff. I really appreciate how Brittany talked about the story structure. This is something that I've felt since I was ten years old, how we relate to what we believe in the way we listen and tell our stories. This has been a part of our lives, no matter where we're from for thousands of years. We are the people that we talk about and admire, the ideal of our stories.
Somehow, we've lost the beauty of trying to really understand ourselves, the good and the ugly.

For me, the best kind of woman for a long term relationship is a woman who's based, you can't be too emotional or 'crazy' you can't be offended at every little thing, you need to be a 'rock' and the women who are rocks are the ones who get married first, men run from 'crazy' so my advice is if you're a girl and reading this, being calm, logical and as free as drama as you can and you can elevate your dating and self worth overnight, believe me, men run if you're easily 'triggered'.

This was beyond fascinating. Book added to my 'to buy' list.
I wont lie I've always been proud of my determination since I was young to be ahead of the equality curve as much as I can by the experiences I've lived but i'm old as hell now and everyday I wake up to see a new way i'm a criminal simply because i'm a man. It was so refreshing to hear two intelligent women putting across how they feel as young women in the modern world and also acknowledging that maybe the fight for equality ( something I strongly believe in but I emphasise the word "equality" ) is damaging to young men growing up nowadays.
I don't want to make this a 'hey what about men' comment but obvs I can only come at it from my perspective and as a guy and after listening to the entirety of this video I can't help but want to read Brittanys book. I took from the interview that it might be as helpful for me to read to it as it would be for the more target audience of young women. The more you understand the better equipped you are to be a decent person eh - just to clarify it wouldn't help me dating wise as, again, im old as hell, ugly as shit and have a woman who was stupid enough to put up with me years ago and continues to do so lol.
Legitimately bloody enjoyed watching and learning from this video. Subscribed
On my concerns that I feel more and more out of touch nowadays: If anything above offended you then all I can say is re read what I said and get over it.

When I was single in a singles Christian group, one of the topics we all liked to talk about as a group was man and woman relationships. Funny thing is head knowledge isn't how we actually deal with problems all the time. Life happens and it wouldn't be out the realm of possibility when your best friend dumps his fiancee and she decides that having sex with you would be a way to solve her problem. Never mind he also tended to show a lot of interest to any beautiful woman. The way I see it, it doesn't matter whether your a man or women, you are fully capable of destroying your own life despite knowing what is right.
