I’m sorry she wrote it at what age? 💀 That’s one of the funniest things I’ve heard in a while. Absolutely insane and a generational artist. No way should a 15 year old have the writing ability to write a song that perfectly captures the feeling of nostalgia and the fear of growing up so perfectly.
I know, it’s literally insane. Because at 23 I could write something that captures what the song is about. Because I’ve experiencing adulthood, but she was literally a 15 year old girl. That’s insane!
Pls pls pls live every second of your life while you can, i know this sounds this a heap of crap and i felt the same when i was 15 but im 21 now and trust me life gets at you pretty fast so enjoy your teenage and do everything you want to and LIVE bcoz growing up sucks
Still blows my mind how genuinely mature Lorde was in all her lyrics from that Album, like a maturity and introspective ability that for most people doesn't really develop till their mid twenties and had some life lessons, and even then some people never develop it. She is only a year older than me and I just think that when we were both 15, my worries were only what was right in front of my eyes, and it took me another third of my life to really get to the level she was on at that age. She is far from my most listened to artist but she is definitely the artist I respect the most, and her music always gets a lot of focus and introspection out of me when I do listen
Yet Taylor Swift still writes about her lover shit. Lorde deserves way more fame for writing so good, being incredible and talented woman. She is aging gracefully.
I didn’t hate my 20s, but I was so lost and confused most of the time. I’m 36 now and I can honestly say that I’ve loved my 30s more than 20s. I’ve also always considered it a privilege to age because so many people do not get the same opportunity.
Imagine composing this at 15.
me gustas
I mean, it sounds like it was composed by a 15 year old
insaneeee energy from the crowd, which is EXACTLY what this song and this genius deserve

Thank you for supporting Palestine, Lorde. You're a good person. Better than most in the music industry. Don't support genocide by playing in Israel.
