Me & partner been trying 9 years💔😣. Had an ectopic last year 2023. Fast forward to February 2024 we seen IVF specialist I met him the doctor & he said there is a weight limit(260) I was weighing at 273 and he was giving me to the beginning of April 2024 to see if I can lose the weight & when I left the office I was crying telling myself how am I going to do this & I did what I had to do I started eating better drinking a lot more water & also doing herbal life shakes, protein bowls, & aloe teas also going to the gym everyday after work and fast forward to MAY 2024 I PASSED MY WEIGHT GOALLLLLLLLLLLL I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF I WEIGH 259.6 I AM SO HAPPY WE START OUR IVF JOURNEY JUNE 2024 we also picking the gender out when that time comes ITS A BOY😍💙🙏💙💙💙💙💙🌈🌈🌈🤰🏻

I have an appointment next week to do a transvaginal ultrasound before the ivf process. I'm new to this, so if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to give me some thoughts on this. Thank you 😊
Doesn’t a baseline ultrasound have to be done while your on your period? If so, isn’t messy and uncomfortable?
Yes baseline is usually done on the 3rd day of your cycle. How messy it is really just depends on your personal cycle, but it is awkward and a little uncomfortable.

Why are you doing IVF? Why not adopt? The cost of Adoption is commensurate if not far less than IVF, especially if having to bring in a surrogate. So what is the necessity to have a genetic child between yourself and a donor or yourself and your partner? There is demonstrably millions of children who need homes and need to be adopted, so if your goal is to have a child and to raise that child with unconditional love, to provide for the child and let that child be representative of you and your family etc. is truly what is desired then what does it matter? Is it a faith/religion thing because a lot of religions from what I’m reading don’t believe in IVF as it conflicts with pro-life ideology. Is it A selfish thing like you want their cord blood in case something happens to you? Is it purely driven by narcissism and ego? You can’t love a child if it doesn’t look like you or look like your husband or make the same face as you do etc.? I truly want to know and it seems like nobody talks about this or answers the question if they asked. In fact the ppl I have seen confronted with This query; they get offended by it and say how dare you even asked me about my reproductive choices. I mean whether you like it or not, it does effect us all but sure privacy I guess is of concern….. IF you not Also “sharing my IVF a journey” here you are sharing so I figured I would ask. I have heard a few people talk about getting brokenhearted by bio mom’s that change their mind at the last minute and leave them without a baby And without thousands of dollars just broken hearted. so they turned to IVF. but that is surely not everybody, matter of fact; it seems like a lot of people are not even trying for adoption or considering it. Adoption seems to be the dead last choice if you absolutely cannot get pregnant. With all this in mind it really just seems like you wanna get pregnant for the same reasons ppl have to have weddings to be married. The pomp and circumstance. The experience. The attention. Cause you want to take preggo pics and give birth and decorate and go through the experience that is undoubtedly amazing don’t get me wrong but why is it so much different? It surely cannot be about all the wanting to show off your baby only if it looks like you? If you are meant to have a child and sit to care for a baby to adulthood in the way that children deserve to be cared for then whether I’m the human is made by you and your partner or you and your donor etc. it shouldn’t matter. In the face of it…. it seems very selfish. it’s giving Kylie Jenner taking a jet everywhere she goes when she lives hundreds of miles away from the Bio Terror we all fear here in Idaho, Salt Lake drying up and being ready to wipe out the entire West Coast in a quickness; but hey traffic sucks 🤷🏼♀️ So peacefully and only to genuinely just listen and not debate anything I want to disabused of this assumption. I know that I have to be dead wrong because there’s no way all you wonderful women are solely making a decision based on superficial narcissism
It's her choice, you can adopt as much babies as you wish but she dosen't want to or at least didn't want to at that moment in time. Just because there are a lot of babies that needs to be adopted don't mean she has to adopt them. It's not her responsibility, but if she did wanted to adopt then that's great and there is nothing wrong with that. I don't get how her wanting to have a bio kid is selfish. The same God you believe in gave us all choices and gave her the ability to carry children , yes she needs a bit of help but still she can and should be allowed to and shouldn't be shamed for wanting that just because there are babies in orphanages that needs to be adopted. Like seriously? 🤔🤦🏾♀️
