i did this with my choir a few weeks after the paris attacks. Our choir, well technically 5 combined choirs, were all holding electronic candles with the lights in the theater off and at the last line every one turned out their candles, except one little 5 year old girl. (this was unplanned ) That little girls name was Paris.

I was homeschooled for my whole life until I went to 6th grade. During the first choir performance, this was one of the songs I sang. This is now one of the most important songs I'll ever listen to.

We are so grateful that our 13 year old daughter is a member of Buffalo Girl Choir. A few months ago, Composer, Jim Papoulis, taught the girls his beautiful song! Members of the Buffalo Girl Choir ranging in ages 8-18 sang There is Peace tonight as their final song. Lots tears were shed by proud family members in the audience knowing how much suffering is happening in the world especially in Palestine. May there be peace throughout the world! 🙏🏼❤️✌🏼
