Thanks for commenting. FBI is not an acronym. An acronym is an abbreviation formed from the initial letters of other words and pronounced as a word. Like NASA or SCUBA. They are pronounced as a word, FBI is pronounced as the three letters.😀

I really enjoy your quizzes. After my surgery they are keeping my mind focused and also entertaining me!! Thank you! Missed one. You really do a good quiz!😀👍
Enjoyable quiz again, thanks for making it. I managed 33/40. Would it be possible to include some more pop culture like current hits etc please in a future video.
@@Quizzes4U Ah ....okay. I didn't realize that an acronym had to spoken as a word. I thought it was just letters that were used instead of the whole name. That's why I like these quizzes - I learn something new every time. 💜
question 11 is wrong due to how the question is worded. it doesn't matter how high you are, nothing happens to the boiling point at that height. it stays the same. it does change if you alter your height but that's not what the question asked. if you went from 20000ft to 19000ft, the boiling point would increase, but 19000ft is still a high altitude. you need to word the question to remove ambiguity.
Hi. Thanks for commenting. Did you watch the video or are you just commenting on the thumbnail? The question in the video asks in which MODERN DAY country was he born. Not what was the country called at the time of his birth. He was born in the village Smiljan, which is in present day Croatia. 😀
Congratulations on spelling Buloke correctly.it is not an English word. Many who should know better spell it as bulloak. Including an Australian wood specialist. I was surprised that it is the hardest, as I thought that the Victorian Iron-Bark(VIB) was harder. True that VIB needs metal cutting roots when dried out.
Thanks me and the wife enjoy these keep them coming
That's great. There will be new quiz every Friday.
37/40 thanks 👍

Q16: all three are acronyms.
Hi. Thanks for commenting. They are not all acronyms. FBI is said as the three letters not as a word, so is not an acronym. Thanks for watching
@@Quizzes4U I see what you mean! Technically (see Merriam Webster or the wiki on Acronym), it's both. 😉
Just wanted to add: it's immaterial to how enjoyable and well put together the quiz is! I'm a fan!
You are correct. The question is a poor one.
An acronym is pronounced as a word, like radar, laser, or NASA. FBI is not pronounced as a word, so it is not an acronym. It is an initialism.
Thank you, I was surprised at what I didn' t know

Question 16 is incorrect. FBI stands for Federal Bureau of Investigation. Love the quizzes though. 💜
Hi. Yes that's right. But it's not an acronym. As it's pronounced as the three letters not a word

Yup, I was confused too, had to look it up. Acronyms are pronounced as a word. Never realized that before.

FBI is an acronym?
No, FBI is not pronounced as a word, like SCUBA is and therefore is not an acronym. Thanks for commenting.
