That turned out beautiful. I've recently been getting into wood burning again, and was thinking of doing some using water colour on occasion, and wasn't sure how since it'd been a long time. So this helped a lot. Thanks for putting this out there!

Very fun! You inspired some great ideas in how I could use this technique. Thank you for sharing !
I think both the styles of slower and faster are good,... sometimes you just want more up close slower process videos,...and sometimes just a quick inspiration. Lovely work though!😊👍

I really LOVE how this turned out, and I wanted to ask you when you sealed it. Did you brush on the varnish or did you use varnish spray? I used some watercolor pencils today on my project and I'm not sure if I should brush it on or spray because I wasn't sure if it would smear. I prefer to brush it on because then I wouldn't have to go warm the garage up to use the spray. Oh and can you tell me what brand water colors you used? I always try to get what experienced people use or suggest.

Spray paint can be a pain, but I do think that watercolor pencils will smear if you brush it on first. I would recommend spraying the varnish first, just make sure not to use matte finish. Then you can brush it on after.
      I really love Daniel Smith watercolors. Here’s a set I love: amzn.to/3OmNUjv
But most people can’t afford that. A step down, but still decent quality is Arteza brand. Here’s a link to the same kind I used: amzn.to/497JtkA
