- hello! welcome to a week in my life in nyc! i filmed monday through sunday and took you along in my week from grocery shopping, to taking class, to fashion week, a super bowl party, editing, filming and everything in between. this is a pretty realistic week in my life aside from some things that don't usually happen (fashion week, throwing a party, etc). this week was pretty youtube focused, but still a fun one!

about you dry skin, i feel like perhaps using a humidifier in your bedroom would help a lot? It does for me in the winter time. Especially when you'e sleeping. I see something that look s like a humidifier in your bedroom but i think you said in a previous vlog its an air purifier?

as a crocheter and knitter, YES you need to stretch your hands, arms and shoulders 😂 I know it sounds ridiculous bc it’s not a sport but your muscles will get very tense and can get repetitive motion strains if you don’t take breaks to stretch. I do stretch and hydrate breaks every so often and definitely after a knitting session! 😌🫶🏻 and always crochet with good lighting!! haha

To be honest, I didn't even notice the eczema under the eyes, so I wouldn't worry too much about how it looks! Hope it does feel better though! ❤

Just came across your video. Fellow eczema/allergy sufferer here. My number one recommendation would be switch your makeup to an organic brand such as 100% pure, Juice Beauty, Toups, or Mineral Fusion just to name a few. Also Vaseline being petroleum based can make the eczema worse. I would also use organic based body wash/soap, face wash and lotions. Dr. Bronners Castile soap did wonders for my face as a wash. I place mine in a foam soap dispenser for easy use. As a final suggestion organic fragrance free laundry detergent will also help.

Alexia, so proud of your motivation to just get out of the house and get a workout in even when you don't want to! Again, you've never looked better.
Also, I'm sure you're done gearing advice about your skin..but "issues started 3years ago" I'm thinking about 3 years of TH-cam content and ALL the DIFFERENT products we've seen you put on your skin! It's a real thing. It's too much. Stick to ONE product. Give it time (like 6 months) no matter the results. Let your skin calm down and heal ❤ Apologies if this is too much unsolicited advice.

I have the same eczema issue with my eyes… I have found petroleum jelly really helps, I dab it on before bed and in about 3 days it’s better, when it’s cold out I have the most trouble

You know, when I started wearing contact lenses, I had to go through three or four different brands of contact lense solution to get away from intermittent eczema around my eyes - did anything change there which might explain it? (also being tearful - whether from sad things or just being out in the cold and wind - tends to create problems for my eyes...). Good luck finding a solution!

I get eye issues too and I recently found out that it’s actually an allergic reaction. Just thought I’d mention it as food for thought for you ❤
Totally can't see the rash at all! But I know what youre talking about - I get it too. Flairs up with the cold sometimes right? This is anecdotal but I found vitamin C and B vitamins help me!
I’m 57 and almost 2 years ago I developed psoriasis in my hand and foot and the older you get you start showing these issues,try putting those under eye patches I put some that are meant for hands and they are starting to work,just a suggestion!

I get perioral dermatitis on my eyes like this too! Of course see your derm, but I've learnt Vaseline is the worst for it. Zinc-based baby butt cream actually helps a lot (i apply at night because it does make you look like a ghost).

I’m thinking you may have an allergy to an ingredient in your facial skincare or makeup. Maybe even your makeup sponge if it contains latex.

IMO putting makeup on eczema (if it is eczema) was never helpful. I always added moisturiser like aquafor to clear it up.

Not even noticeable on camera, but what I discovered when a similar thing was happening to me was my laundry detergent, and softener caused my skin to do the same thing! Are you maybe allergic to your detergents, or softeners?

I wanted to say this again because the same thing was happening to me and it took a very long time to figure out the cause. It turned out to be makeup wipes. I can use zero makeup wipes. When I switched to just face soap, the problem went away.
